Just hope he doesnt get targeted. Our PP doesnt scare anyone (except the fanbase) and physically nobody scares opponents so we gotta bubble wrap him and get a couple of fighters/intimidators.
PP is simple, nobodybwants to be a shooter, thats 100% on personnel. Hopefully Darache fixes that in future.
Always great beating the Leaves. Drouin had the points but still need goal scoring from him. Same with Barzy, Holmstrom. Lee, Shabanov etc. Cant rely on the kid every night.
I disagree about the Tavares groaning, it doesn't even qualify as booing. Either make up a cheer that you pull out 2 or 3 times when we play them or put it to bed.
13:31 come on guys this was far from Mayfields fault. We had possession. Heineman made a rare weak turnover down low and before you could think the puck was in the net. No set play no time for communication. Mayfield hasn’t been good but this was not on him or mcward.
My big worry is how do we keep Schaefer for the long term??!! Eventually everyone is going to want him. And how tf is he going to want to stay on a team that isnt playing up to his caliber? Hes going to want a cup at some point
Lost in all the Schaefer praise, definitely deserved, is Emil Heineman's 3rd period and OT. You guys correctly pointed out Mayfields mistake on goal against number 3, but Heineman actually had full possession of the puck with no one on him and tried to pass it behind the net to Mayfield. The puck got picked off and then it's in the back of our net after a quick pass. He almost broke his stick on the net after in frustration, but he stops himself and stays composed. He was definitely determined to make up for the mistake as he buries the one-timer game tying goal, then has a sick back check in OT, steals the puck, and hits Barzal with a pass for the secondary assist. Good work of sticking to it and not letting a mistake get you down.

Once Horvat is back and playing fully healthy our powerplay will be fine
