Using 'bottom of the basement' when referring to eastern Conference teams is a bit disingenuous right now. Ottawa is 2 points out from a playoff spot so aren't going to be a push over.
Even the last place eastern team, Columbus is 5 points out from a playoff spot. The parity in the east is crazy right now, so each team is going to play hard because everyone is legitimately still in the race for playoffs.
Maybe Batman was here three weeks ago not for shits and giggles but talk to ownership about relocating to a big US market. Through doing badly and losing ticket sales. Why do you think Chevy has been here so long. Had his mandate can’t make us win a cup in ex years then next step is get to relocation.

It would have been a logical thing to think bringing JT in would have been a great opportunity for Yager to learn from but no. Both he and Barlow were buried at the bottom of the Moose line up below the NHl/AHL tweeners they brought in. Unsurprisingly they both had bad starts. At this point Jets need to gain to recoup draft picks and subtract dead weight. Our “ deep blueline” is redundant. Trade
