Could The Flyers ACTUALLY Trade Bobby Brink!?

The Flyers are back in the trade rumor mill — and this one is divisive.

According to reports, Philadelphia and Minnesota have discussed a potential deal centered around Bobby Brink following Tyson Foerster’s season-ending injury. With Brink set to become an RFA this rumor raises a massive question about the Flyers’ direction.

Could this be a smart transition move? Or a mistake that sells upside too early?

Let’s break it all down.

  1. Luchanko will not play in the NHL. He can't hit the side of a barn and lacks hockey IQ. Have you seen him during the junior tournament? Atrocious. He shouldn't be on that team.

  2. Don’t want Hartman, but I would be willing to deal Brink & whatever is reasonable for Boldy from the WILD. Good mix of size of skill & can go to the front of the net which nobody consistently does now on the Flyers roster. Plus you would be reuniting former USNTP teammates with Zegras & York. Think Brink/Bump/Bonk & preferably a 3rd round but be willing to go with a 2nd round pick for Boldy.

  3. Gtfo brink is worth 10 Ryan Hartmann. He’s a washed up 4th liner. Clickbait video

  4. I rather take brink , nicolas d , 3rd ,.2nd and get 27 year old center whos fell out of favor

you loose 3 wingers to make space for barky , jett , martone

  5. When you are still rebuilding, you don't trade a good, young player for an average, old player. Brink might or might not be "replaceable", but Hartman is not the replacement. When you are still rebuilding, you only give up good players for younger players, more players, or both. "From Minnesota's perspective, this deal makes sense!" It SHOULD! It would be a fantastic trade for Minnesota! It just doesn't make as much sense for Philly in reality as in your sales pitch.

  6. I'd be willing to part with Brink, as we need to make room for Foerster and Martone next season, but Hartman isn't it. I would rather get some sort of prospect center and picks.

    Yurov, Haight, Heidt. Etc.

  7. They are not going to trade Brink unless someone offers a deal that can't be denied logically. As in, someone doing something like selling a Bedard or Celebrini. Which isn't going to happen. Brink is a future letter. He'll be a captain or alternate in a few seasons. He's a leader on and off the ice. The kid is also just getting started and is already a huge part of their wins. The Cates, Foerster, Brink line is unreal. There's no way they would give that up for a player they already had. Hartman is a decent player but he's a sell. Every team he's been on uses him as a trading chip. He's not good enough to cement a roster spot but not bad enough to be scratched regularly. So he gets moved all the time. He was already in Philly. Why would Briere trade one of their best youngsters for a middling player? It makes no sense.

I swear, you YT guys are always making up stupid "rumors" just for views.

    Brink is just getting started.

If you have any self-respect, you'll take this video down. LOL.

  8. Here's a logical argument: why would the Flyers want Ryan Hartman? He is one dirty hit away from missing a lot of NHL games.

  9. just because brink was born in minnesota……brink has more points than hartman and his contract is more than half of hartman….did i mention brink is 7 years younger?…….this is a horrible take. also barkey is filling in foresters role very well.

  10. This story is old and was already shot down. Like your videos but please dont use 5 day old rumors. Wild are interested in Brink but DB shot down Hartman. With that said Brink will likely be traded by next years trade deadline, especially if Barkey keeps up the solid play.

  11. They should have kept Ryan Hartman in the first place he played. So passionate for the fires for the 15 plus games. He was in Philadelphia. His very first shift was absolutely awesome. It reminded me of G's check on Sid the Kid.

  12. Trading Brink would be the dumbest move. Even if you want to make room for Martone next two season's. Brink bring's so much to a 3rd or 4th forward line, he is the sort of the guy that you just move down the line. You don't trade that kind of puck winning skill away from your roster….

  13. This doesn't seem like a Briere type trade at all unless flyers are getting back hartman+1st/good prospect no way they do it straight up flyers don't need Hartman. This has Wild leak all over it they are trying to cap dump Hartman for a good young player on a cheap contract so they can make other additions.
