Starting to wonder if they are human-beyond unbelievable. Would've been easy to mail in the 3rd. I was ready to concede it just wasn't their night & no big deal. Played pretty good through 2 periods but got no breaks or calls.Also playing a brutal back 2 back-tonight the best in the East (going into tonight)-& AVS are way past overdue for a loss. TOMORROW THEYLL BE HALFWAY THROUGH THE SEASON AND THEY HAVE 2 REAL LOSSES PEOPLE! But as talented,& experienced as they are-their resilience & heart match it. LONG WAYS TO GO! And so much can happen with injuries,trade deadline-hell Olympics,& Olympic break. Til ya even get to playoffs-& obviously winning the Cup is all that matters-not breaking the Alltime points record.
But right now/today-Avs are greatest Colorado sports team in my 49 yrs on earth. Can you imagine being Minnesota or Dallas? 2nd,& 3rd best records in NHL,& on pace for over 110 points-usually would be right in Prez trophy race. But cuz the AVS basically never lose (twice -with 7 quasi ties)-you not only can't make up ground right now but lose ground. Minny is like 6-1-3 in their last 10 I think but has FALLEN BACK 5 MORE POINTS CUZ AVS ARE 10-0-0! As great as Minny,& Dallas have played-& we know none of this guarantees shit…for regular season but especially playoffs. But AVS are now 12 points up on Dallas with game in hand…11 points up on Minny WITH 3 GAMES IN HAND! And in great tiebreak shape on both JUST IN CASE!
