    Agree completely that an independent third party GM should be selecting Team Canada. Armstrong selected players from the Blues to prop up their trade value because there is no way that Binnington makes the team otherwise. Moreover, Armstrong is the GM of a bottom feeding NHL and Canada picks him to select Team Canada. Why?

    Yup Bingington has been dog shit all year but who else is gonna replace him, Canada's goaltending is weak compared to other countries. Calling the Olympic tournament best on best is a bit of stretch considering the Russians arent invited and they would probably have the 3rd strongest team overall,

    Casey M is a defensive liability, ufa Roberstson ain't moving, unless its like competitive Caroline. why the hell go to a a long rebuilt like pens. Dubas sells then buys. ridiculous owners are not commiting. Crosby is the GM. look at Panarin, he will leave if ufa.

    Not trying to defend Armstrong, but in a snippet from Rutherford, he said the rest of Canadian management focused on his history and not this season. They're fully bought into big game binner

    Agreed with you 100%. Choices for Team Canada are too biased, NHL GMs and coaches shouldn't be allowed to choose the roster.

    Detroit was after Faulk a little last year, so it wouldn’t be a surprise BUT, if you look at Yzerman’s history, he goes after big dmen to compliment his main guys. So he’ll be after a Samberg, Bahl, tyoes with term, or Oleksiak for short term.
