  1. Please. Do not trade Zacha. Mittelstadt, Jeannot, Arvidson, Eyssimont, Kuraly , Kastelic, and Viel should all be gone before we consider trading Zacha. Enough of Zacha trade talk.

  2. 17:07 The good news is that the Bruins have several good options regarding Zacha. His contract is very team-friendly, and his versatility on the ice is very valuable. The Bruins COULD trade him this spring, but they’re not under any excessive pressure to do that, because (barring injury) Zacha would have similar value on the trade market in spring of 2027.

Ultimately, though, the Bruins’ top two centers, for the foreseeable future, will be James Hagens and Elias Lindholm. With Fraser Minten emerging as a longterm 3C, it’s safe to say that Zacha (probably) isn’t part of the B’s longterm plans. If a team offers an excellent trade offer for Zacha this spring, the Bruins have to consider it, strongly. Whether Boston gets good trade value from Zacha in 2026 vs. in 2027 doesn’t make much difference in the longterm plans … as long as they do get trade value from Zacha at some point.
