I'm not a mini Domi fan but for w.e reason he has chemistry is Matthews, & if that can get Matthews going than it is what the team needs.
Second point it is getting close to seeing if the Leafs will be buyers or sellers this stretch of games in January will tell us that.
If they can continue to get wins they should add top six forwards who are actually good. & add a skilled dman or two.
If they lose more games than they win in January they ought to dump many of these players especially the lazy guys & ask some of the guys with no trades to waive if they tank in January. ⚖️ We shall see how they play but it would be very Leafy to see them go on a run now or tank.
This team never knows what they are or when they actually decide they want to compete.
At least January will give us the truth about what will happen or what they will do about trades or sellers at the trade deadline.

In all fairness to Domi he got high sticked in the end of the 1st and the refs didn't call a penalty but when Domi high sticks someone its an instant whistle, thats why he was laughing.
Rielly, once again, was REALLY bad, a lazy, pretend Defenceman on for 4 goals finishing -2. Addition by subtraction: Rielly has to go, just look at the difference Stecher has made replacing the horrible Carlo.
trade domi for a 3rd or 4th round pick so robertson can finally get a permanent position. he's not a fighter like domi, but robertson hits, he shows tenacity going after pucks and has an excellent shot.
Scott Laughton rules.. this is one of the worst bits around. He'd be on every team's lineup, is an elite penalty killer and has had several breakaways already this year. Hasn't gotten the bounces. He rules and should have an 'A' on his jersey.

thank goodness we have the wildabeast, cuz wool absolutely stunk last nite. that backhand goal was pathetic. is there anything better than beating the jets, especially when they are down to begin with? thanks PANDAS!
Some podcasts seem to want to plan the parade after one game's performance. It's great but it is merely a start…and against the worst team in the NHL with a backup goalie. This type of performance is expected of a $13M player. Keep in mind doing this in the regular season was never the issue. Now keep doing it on a regular basis…especially in the playoffs…and stop looking like a deer in the headlights in important games.
If they had lost, I was 100% going to put the blame on Domi. We did NOT need him killing the comeback momentum like he did. Other than that, it was FAR from perfect, but I enjoyed the game.

I’ve got no hope for this team honestly no matter what they do from here. This team reminds me so much of Calgary this year.
