I honestly think the reason they don't play Colin Miller as often, is because he played with Vegas in 2018. And they are "salty" that he eliminated them in that series.
Also I want to know the thinking process of signing Pearson from Vegas, when Olofsson was literally a UFA also.
If you really think about it, we lost in the 1st round. We got a MIRACLE, we were not supposed to make it past the 1st round. Bro imagine the heat Chevy wouldn't been in right now if that were the case. That lost would've been a definite firing for Chevy, because he gave away our picks for two players who did fuck all in that round. Plus not getting anything for Ehlers. BRO Perfetti lowk cursed us.

wheres the jets prospects? 9 of 54 picks over the last decade are all thats left with the orgnaization only 3 of them are full timers…? what are they for??? every top team in the nhl has at least 1 or two young guys on it?
If youre a 1st place team and you go into the playoffs with your 1st rd picks and all your prospects still…..
and youre a last place team in the nhl and you dont ice them? theyre not playing?

Jets fan watching from afar here. How does a team go from first to last place in less than a calendar year? Was Ehlers the backbone of the team? Is the coach an asshole who everyone hates? The hell is going on? Edited to add that it's hard to knock management for not going after free agents. I think it's safe to say Winnipeg is on a no-trade list of pretty much every player in the NHL.
The fact that some fans of this fucking team think they were somehow a wildcard team is insane to me we should be sellers not buyers at the deadline

OK, let’s be completely honest here as Jets fans for the 15 years they have been back every time they’re supposed to be great or the team has high expectations from fans and sports analyst they crumble.
I don’t know why that is exactly but I remember when they made the playoffs in 2015 I was literally in grade 8 when they made the playoffs for the first time. And I remember the next season everyone saying that they’re gonna make the playoffs they’re gonna be in the top three and their division, and then the next two years they crumbled and did not make the playoffs.
Then we jumped to 2018 the Jets surprise everyone make the playoffs go really far to the west final and crumble against the Vegas Golden Knights.
And then the next really four seasons they had a great team. They had a good team, but I think the morale with older players like Wheeler and then bringing in toxic players like PLD. Overall made the team culture in that locker room really really bad.
And they did not live up to their roster because on paper we had a great team for a decade, and we have had only a few good seasons with the core that we still have at this very moment, which is kind of still the same from 2018 a little bit.
I mean, sure we have a lot new additions but roughly the first and second line of that core from 2018 is still kind of there.
I think overall, the Jets organization has trouble reaching expectations when people have them high on the list to do well they seem to crumble when they need to play good and when nobody has them on their radar, they play extremely great like last season winning the president’s trophy and being first in the NHL!
I think they’re also struggling with the fact that really big picture Kevin Cheveldayoff has been trying to win a cup with this team that he has built for two decades and none of it’s working he’s been really trying to do what Chicago did in the early 2010 since he was with the Chicago organization when they first won the Stanley Cup.
It’s not translating to success every time the Jets have expectations. They do not translate those expectations to success and when they don’t have any expectations, they succeed so I think a lot of it is a mental problem and I also believe with a lot of the players that we do have now getting into their 30s. We’re getting to a point where these players were getting older and Kevin Chevrolet off his bike. He wasted six years trying to get this team to win a Stanley Cup and I get it. We have had the window and we do have the team I do believe to succeed at winning a cup, but right now there is no Mojo in that room or in this organization at this very moment whatever they had last year completely has been stripped away.
I don’t really think you can blame this season on Scott I mean, he is trying his best to get this team‘s mojo back that they had last year and since it’s his second year with the organization coaching the Jets, I mean he got this Jets team to believe in a system last year so I don’t know why they are having trouble believe in in that system again.
I do honestly believe if the Jets don’t show some consistent effort for the second half of the season. I’m not saying do a St. Louis Blues 2019 and come all the way and sneak into a playoff spot.
But if they don’t, at least so, some life onto the ice I think there’s gonna be a lot of big changes this off-season. I think the GM is gone and maybe that’s a good thing maybe getting a new GM will spark some life into this club by getting younger players getting put in and getting NHL experience who knows

I love how this franchise has lost 8 straight games going on 9 and 10 most likely, and still believe that this lineup can bring home a win streak against any team but the worst of the worst, AND the management still refuse to give ANY opportunity to anybody but Luke Schenn and Tanner Pearson because they have "Stanley Cup pedigree" or for whatever other god awful excuse they have, (btw they won cups with stacked rosters and Pearson hasn't been a factor in play since he played with the Canucks). I also love how this franchise has a Manitoba Moose team with young players begging for any opportunity possible to be in the NHL to just have the experience, but instead when one player goes "rogue" and calls them out on what they're way of managing them is doing to the player (Brad Lambert), they just give him an option to seek out a trade because management is so inept on what to do in this situation and honestly probably see these rookies in the AHL as "non-factors" right now when this management group never really takes risks on anything but OLD MEN who have long surpassed their peaks.
Great video btw, just thought I would let my anger out on this franchise because dear god we're slowly devolving into what the Predators were last year, just a bunch of old dudes. But at least we still have that First Line, Morrissey and Hellebuyck. I've bought into the tank and want McKenna and/or Stenberg and I'm just glad to see tank commander Comrie being so generous to let us lose that Toronto game, very cool.

Chipman cares about money. First and foremost. He treated his season ticket holders like shit in the beginning now I get emails and phone calls offering me a handy to keep my tickets. There is no real motivation to win a cup. Does he want one? I’d say he does but not if it cost him money. As far as Chevy goes? He’s gotta go. We need a new culture. They pissed off Buff and I don’t care about “he wanted to go fishing blah blah blah.” They need a change from the top down. I don’t care what they did last year… Helly choked in the playoffs so it doesn’t matter what happened in the regular season. All we got now is theme nights and a live band. It’s Winnipeg… spend money attracting star players or guys like Marchand. Yes, Marchand… a guy who can make the kids play hockey and entertain the fans. Biggest cheers right now are for Stanley… that’s what we got

The Jet players have no confidence in Comrie to hold steady…so they don't play with confidence….Comrie also goes butterfly all the time and he gets beat up high all the time every time….the Jet players are too old and too slow…19 as an example…once great but not anymore…Ehlers is gone and he was a high speed pace player….they need to bring up some Manitoba Moose players and sit some of the current laggards like Perfetti….Arniel the coach is way to calm on the bench…he needs to get into some players ears and yell at them (I meant motivate them..lol)…GM needs to go
