  1. We have 5 guys with point per game skill one of the best d core in the league when healthy, depth in net. I dont know why we still have a loser mentality lets get it.

  2. Slow and steady wins the race.

Let's not make any sudden moves to marginally improve when most of these guy haven't reached their full potential yet.

That said, you have to be ready to pounce when the right player becomes available, as they did for Dobson.

    Cheers!

  3. Habs have the most goals for in the East but also the most goals against.

If they can clean up the goals against, then I like our chances to go deep this year, especially with bodies coming back Ghule, Dach, Newhook & Evans

It’s crazy that we have kept pace with not so much the number of injuries but the fact they have missed a whole middle 6 FWD line, their number 1 Defensive D for most of the season now Evans their number 1 PK forward & Monty having a horrid start to season.

Pretty impressive the way the staff in Montreal and Laval seem in sync so that when the kids come up it feels like plug and play for the most part…

I mentioned in the chat that I didn’t like Kappy’s game, he lost a number pucks at offensive blue line, wasn’t great in the faceoff dot until the last 2minutes, yeah he scored a goal again, again with his wingers feeding him a highlight reel passing play, he’s been solid all year but not his best game. You’re pretty quick to criticize other players but Kappy should not a get a free pass for 82 games… no one is perfect.

Veleno maybe banged up a bit, he was the leading hitter and was playing high energy checking for a good stretch but looks a bit off.

Danault other than the faceoff circle looked a little lost at times, didn’t like his pointing for coverage in D zone when the guy was right beside him, maybe still adjusting to new team and systems, this is not the same team that he left 4 years ago…

Carrier had some troubles too, maybe playing too many minutes filling in for Matheson.

Texier bad penalty turned the tide in the 1st but then made a nice ply on Cole’s goal, you’re pretty hard on him but he’s been a good addition. Looks better on line 1 than Bolduc

Dobby didn’t steal the game, I agree he showed a little rust but made some key saves to keep them in it… he definitely needs to be playing more

But overall The kids are alright and the stars are shinning bright.

    Love to see it.
