What a hard fought win. We were down 4-1, yes mistakes were made, we had some bad bounces, and some unlucky chances that didn’t go in early. But we fought through, and Matthews looked like the 69 goal scorer again from a few years ago.
Finally a vintage performance by Matthews! Ever since his 69 goal campaign he's looked decidedly average by his standards. It was good to see.
