Another fantastic show guys. Love the Podcasts
Limping into the Olympic break (Feb 5) this well makes feel me very confident in this team..
its time to have the gallagher talk, id rather have beck out there. the guy needs to hang it up
What is Lane supposed to do with no Hockey during the break? 😂
Just exposing Hage to playoff hockey will reap rewards for the following season
Arber’s play is making Struble’s time as a Hab shorter & shorter
Love Dobby but he wasn’t good
Beliveau would be proud. No egos; all team.
Thank you for the accurate analysis, enlightened views and intelligent conversations you offer us! The Starr & D'Amico Show is for me the most relevant podcast about the Montreal Canadiens. A great 2026 to you both!!
I think saying Hage is going to be a 60 point player and a step down from Eichel is a strange comparable… a step down from Eichel would be a 75 to 80 point player.
Hutson and Demi will be hanging out a lot together during the break.
Demi is averaging 15 minutes per game. All other players above him average 17 to 22 minutes per game.
Most top players average 20 to 22 minutes.
Demi has elite talent and elite hockey iq and works his tail off. Excellent all around player.
I watch your show every morning while eating breakfast. Best Habs show!
I've been happy with Texier on the top line. Sammy is what this team needed.
Hi guys, I'm not sure what the rules are for the Olympics but what about injuries to players? Since this is a short torment. How deep into the tournament do you play when you stop bring in players in
I don't expect Blais to keep up his production but if he plays like this he had to stay in the lineup.
Is Dobes to Laval not an option?
Another great show with points on key! How good has Arber been since getting his confidence back? That guy is exploding players, nobody wants to be in front of the net when he’s there. He has finally arrived! And he’s OK with playing the minutes required, perfect 3rd pair Dman
Once Reinbacher is an everyday player Carrier will probably be traded…as soon as next season.
Almost all the time I agree with Marco but this Hutson 1st in his draft class, not so much. A point per game is great but the position is defense as he was on the ice for 3 goals against vs Carolina, other games as such he's simply not defensively sound to be a top 10 pick. Cutter is looking to be the pick of that draft. Nonetheless I'm fine with Slaf and Hutson was a steal where he was picked. Just the way I see it.
Robertson is 2nd in scoring among American players.
None of the Habs games are available to watch in Alberta. They are blacked out for some strange reason. Instead, we get games involving teams like Detroit, Chicago, etc. It's rather pathetic. 😮
Great show men.
How is the head shot to Matheson not a suspension for the RAT Marchand by the NHL, its tine for all Habs players to hit Marchand every chance they get next game
There is no room for Laine.
thanks for the show guys. thanks kevin
All great past Canadien teams started at the goaltender and worked out from there, their team defense won cups. Offense is nice, but defense is what playoffs are all about, just ask Edmonton & Toronto last year against Florida.
Currently, Montreal is +1, Florida is +28, Colorado +71, Dallas +30. Between their goaltending and defensive woes, Montreal's team defense is objectively worse than the top tier. At this point, Montreal is an early exit, if they want to win a round or two they have to tighten up. Guhle will help, but a better defensive commitment from the entire team is required.
