ATTN NHL LEAGUE: SHARKS DO NOT NEED FORWARDS 😮 WE NEED DEFENSEMEN! UGH.
An old winger? I mean if he’s cheap sure. But X comments indicate they’d want Musty and the EDM 1st. I see more of a 2nd in value for where the Sharks are. No way it happens.
No way should we be spending assets on forwards right now.
He'd be excellent on the 4th line. Kind of like a more talented version of Reaves I think he would bring a lot of toughness
Id rather make a move for a player like Logan Stanley from Winnipeg!
Definitely not worth a 1st if that's what Vancouver wants
Kurashev or Skinner replacement?
Nope , we need to off load 3 forwards. Chernyshov , Regenda and Gaudette al need full time spots when Smith Misa and Kurashev come back. If we can offload 3 of those and pic up an offensive right handed defense.
Horrible idea, going after Sherwood. We already have enough middle six guys- we don't need flash-in-the-pan Michael Grabner who will only go downhill from here. The guy is in the running for the Cy Young, for Pete's sake.
Let Skinner settle in, Kurashev come back, and keep the assets we have.
🧐
I don't see why it wouldn't hurt if they want to maybe try to make the playoffs but either way.. they're not that good of a team anyways even if they made the playoffs.
Stay the course and build for long term success. The team still needs to offload at least one defenseman (preferably two) before the Misa contract kicks in. Before the season started I thought a 30-35 win season was very possible. It's great that the team is on pace for a better record. However, developing the younger players is the most important part of this season.
He is 30! Hell no! We are a young team, and all these young player are going to grow together and build chemistry. We need to look at players in early 20's, and bleed off the older players.
Our offense is our strong suit. We don't need to strengthen it more. I hope this is just a rumour out of left field
Misa hasn't looked good. Other than that one tic tac toe PP goal that he 100% engineered, he's looked mid.
He's been off the ice for months so it's hard to expect too much from him. Hoping he picks it up as the tourney progresses and he gets his game legs back.
We need to develop our young players and we need some good defense men. Not sure how acquiring smoother veteran forward would help – would rather they bring up Musty
