The Ontario Reign open their five-game home-stand with a tough matchup against a familiar rival; the San Jose Barracuda. Cole Guttman got the scoring started in the first period to put Ontario up early, but the Barracuda answered back with a strong push. San Jose battled their way to four goals and sealed the game in heartbreaking fashion, scoring the game-winner in the final second to take a 5–4 win.
