  1. Rather none of the habs made the team, risking injury and not taking the time to rest for a playoff run..

  2. Happy New Year season. Love to watch your show for analysis and info. Hamilton Ontario is a Leaf fandom for the most part but due the Bull Dogs…still lots of Habs fans.

  3. let's not worry about who made the team or who got snubbed, let's worry about the rink and the building that is STILL NOT DONE!!! They better use the rink from 2006, because there is no way in hell the ice is going to be to NHL standards!!! PERIOD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  4. Happy New Year guys. I was hoping Bedard made the team. Nick definitely earned the spot on the team.

  5. Happy New Year gents!

Happy for Suzuki, regardless of what fans may want this is a great honour for him, his family and Canadiens representation at the Olympics.

A long way from being an only required Canadiens player at all Star game

  6. While I think the Olympics will be good for Nick I think its going to be hard to say it will take him to another level. That's no swipe at Nick at all, I just think he's at the level he can reach, e.g. when he plays like we know Nick can play he's top 3 to 5 centreman in the league. The Olympic selection is validation for Nick not a 'coming out'. Nick did that after the 4-Nations last year (to prove he should have been there). He was doing it for the first 20 or so games and again the last 4 periods, in there he started to play 'overly responsible', still good but not the play driver he'd become. Hearing the interview with him after his selection its clear he became overly fixated on his Olympic dream, not hard to understand, not a 'swipe' after all he's human and not even a demigod (we only have 1 of those, 🙂). The season is long but Nick showed after the 4-Nations last year that he was going to take his team and drive it every day in to the playoffs, that's the player he now is. While other players can have an 'off day', unfortunately for Nick that means he doesn't get a 'day off', its not that he can't have a bad game because of injury or illness or just 'because', it just means he can never again play 'overly conservative'. Nick will go forward leading his line and the team in to battle game in, game out. So the Olympics will be good for him but he's shown that it doesn't matter who are his wingers, he's going to make time & space for them to thrive and he's why we can have a 2nd line driven by Slafs and why we no longer 'obviously' need a 2C. The future is bright with Nick leading the way, he is shaping up to be the next Koivu, Carbonneau or Gainey, he's already reached their level of ability and now can just put the Olympic selection behind him and play his game. I'm so looking forward to the 2nd half of the season. Happy New Year to all and GOOO HABS!

  7. J'ai hâte que l'on puisse revoir les Russes aux olympiques. Un match Canada-Russie est toujours délicieux.

  8. Brayden Point is washed and doesn’t not belong on Team Canada. He’s the most outrageous pick.
