Another oh-so-close game but, on 31 December Central Time, also another loss for the Jets in regulation.
Don’t worry Harrison everything will work out. The Jets are gonna get a top three pick and they will do a little re-tool. They have a great core and everyone will be back to normal next year and everyone will be happy. We just have to be patient.

I agree with you regarding Scheifele, although not surprising he didnt get picked because of who is involved in running the team. The Jets have a really big problem. They keep calling themselves a draft and develop team but all their young players are either stuck on the Moose or traded away to better opportunities on other teams. I wonder how McGroarty would have done if he was still here. Not saying he would save the team but would inspire the young guys to do their best to get to the Jets. Don't know if its Chevy or Arniel issue or if maybe we need to revamp our organizational drafting system.
Anyone who says we still have a chance at the playoffs are in Dreamland. To get the estimated 94-96 points for a wildcard spot we would need to win 70% of our remaining games, not gonna happen.
Jets will get that high pick and keep him in the moose till he requests a trade as the jets play thirty plus year olds.

This is the plan. They dropped to last place to have an epic return and win the SC. Seriously though, it’s interesting to watch what they’ll try to do to bring the franchise back to its feet.
Winnipeg simply can't score. 6 games with 2 goals, 6 games with 1 goal, 4 shut outs in 39 games played. I hope they don't do something stupid and make drastic changes that let them win enough to lose out on the Gavin McKenna draft lottery.
