It's a snub perhaps; I'd think Doughty's long in the tooth for a Snaggletooth…😄 That said, I think the Bat phone could be added to the GM's office for the Playoffs.. Lets hope the Dark Night decids to come back one last time… Gotham will be inspired! The Boy Wonder can't do it alone!
But wait! If former Islander Devon Toews’ wife has not delivered their expectant child by the start of the games, he will stay home and maybe create the opening for Matthew Schaefer. Stay tuned
Always been an old boys club. Surprised they took Celebrini. There are several aging players that probably shouldn't get a spot. Doughty, Stone, and Binnington of hand
He’s certainly good enough. But he hasn’t played a full NHL season yet. And he is exciting and fearless. But that also makes him reckless. He needs to protect himself better. He hasn’t learned that. And the emotion of the Olympics may make him more reckless. I’d hate to see an injury slow him down.
48 has been dynamic for the isles and is setting records for his age, but he is not ready. He lacks the experience needed to be a dman for team Canada
MERRY NEW YEAR. good for 14. its an honour for a canadian to represent their county at olympics. canadians dig gold medals. i just hope isle type shit like a pj judas injury at olympics that finishes off 14's season doesn't happen. 48-he will have other opportunities to play for team canada. canada's problem is in net thus experience canada seeks on back-end.
the Olympics has lost its luster since the team usa miracle on ice 45 years ago. the we against the evil empire days. the good old days when russia would beat romania 18-1 while skirting the rules for 42 years to ice their best pros at olympics as canadians whined about no gold for them for 42 years. once pros were allowed into olympics it lost its luster. greed and overcorporization of olympics combined to ruin it as 'pros' who already had their glory return for more of those corporate $$$'s.
NO THANKS. let the euros enjoy gold medals. they crave that shit.
Team Canada went for an old guard. But grats to Horvat, well deserved.
