  1. This is why we love hockey. No other sport can something disrespectful happen, both guys calmly agree, “Yeah that’s a fighting action” and you go out and settle it immediately. Great bout too. Always respected Garland for being a smaller guy who isn’t afraid to throw his weight around and drop the gloves.

  2. players take liberties with garland because of his size pretty much every game. i have no problem with him giving a little back.

  3. Myers was losing his stick, causing a breakaway, getting a penalty and getting scored on causing the Canucks to lose momentum; then after Garlands fight they were playing like a team, not letting anyone get close to Lankinen after the whistle and playing tough while putting more pressure in the offensive zone…. until Myers got confused; bumped into his D partner causing another breakaway and goal just to skate away without a care – not to mention multiple “fly bys” where the player just skated around him.

Can we please include Myers in any of our next trades… please? He is painful to watch. And demoralizing.

  4. stupid elbow, props for owning up and accepting the fight, then the coward late uppercut as the linesman are coming in. Connor “the Nerd” Garland is stil a rat.

  5. McCann for not being a fighter did pretty well throwing with both hands and mixing in uppercut. I know Garland not a fighter either but he was mainly surviving for the most part. Credit to both it’s not an easy thing to do. Been there and Done it!

  6. Another loss with the alternate jersey. Can we just wear these when visiting sick children and photo shoots and leave them out of games?

  7. They both deserve a hand on this one.

Connor Garland recognized what he'd done and owned up to it. That takes more courage than most people realize.

As does standing up for yourself. While McCann TECHNICALLY didn't need to fight, in reality I believe he did the right thing.

Kudos to both and they certainly didn't disappoint either!

  8. Love how garland doesn’t back down from a fight how many times has he been given a cheep shot to the face and never gets a call from the referees and as soon as he does he’s the one who gets fingers pointing at him
