Theyve suddenly won 3 of 4. The slide is over. I know theyd never use injuries as as an excuse but that doesnt mean that i cant!
Now THAT was a good win. Way better than the win against Chicago. That was relentless, swarming, suffocating play for 60 minutes. Didn't see any panic or letdown from the players after giving up that goal (even though I admittedly did, lol)
Happy for Stuuuuu to finally break the ice with his first win and settling in! Excited to see Chinakhov, Thursday.
I love Lizotte. He's our new version of Tanev, who I personally miss.

Hey DK, this team is so frustrating! You watch them play like they did last night and I was left speechless, they won every battle there was and took it to….CAROLINA! Seeing Skinner not only win but play brilliant was awesome, I want to see him do well, he's just a likeable guy. Now while last night was great, saying they are back on the right track…..I am a little nervous to say because of the roller coaster ride. But I am curious on the decisions going forward. First of all, as they are now line two is their own line, they don't need Malkin. Line four are dominating at their role, can't touch either. That leaves lines one and three, Koivenen ain't cutting it, he's the oddman out, I would bump Rust down to line three to mentor the two kids and have Malkin play with Sid and Rakell…..this trio was dominate last season when they were put together. I know the popular decision will be taking out Novak or possibly Dewar, but they've earned their spots until they haven't.
Copmletely different vibe with the team if they didn't blow 4 3 goal leads.
I dont think its a coincidence that they have gotten back to what made them successful to start the year when Lizotte returned, its contagious!!!
Is it sad that I saw Carolina score their first goal and thought, great, the Pens are up 5-1 and now the Canes have them right where they want them? 🤨
