Buffalo Sabres win streak reaches nine after dominant win over St. Louis Blues!
The Sabres can’t stop winning! The win streak reaches nine games, one off a franchise record, after a 4-2 win over the Blues that the Sabres dominated from the second period on. The line of Zach Benson, Ryan McLeod, and Jack Quinn were especially dominant and put away the game winning goal early in the third period. Rasmus Dahlin’s return to the lineup helps, Noah Ostlund continues to contribute along with Josh Norris, and Alex Tuch shows up scoring important goals. Sneaky Joe believes the win streak could significantly increase the probability that Tuch signs with the team on a long-term contract.
Plus, how Alex Lyon’s start went, an evaluation of whether Tage Thompson had an off night, and a look at how scoreboard watching went for Sabres fans on Monday night. Who should we be rooting for to win on Tuesday night?

THANK YOU for talking about Zach Benson’s net front presence. Super awesome how good he’s gotten at it.
Also, Kesselring is a perfect complement to Owen Power. Dahlin was waiting for Sammy, and Power was waiting for Kesselring. Awesome.
Kick those nuts!
were getting there. we have come far fast
Love seeing these exciting Sabres fans. U guys definitely deserve some wins.
Not taking anything away, St. Louis fell apart
Iiving inTrinidad Sabres fan 50 years you mentioned WGR and right away i remembered Molly McCoy the news anchor.
Lyon had a terrible first period. Neither of those plays should’ve been goals by St. Louis. But credit to Lindy for keeping him in the game because he bailed us out a couple of times in the third
Kesselring looks better in each game. Good goaltending is obviously important. The team is deep and Zucker's return makes them even deeper. Lot of hockey left 🏒
Tage Thompson hatrick coming soon.😊
win streaks shows how difficult to make up points lost..
The goaltending discussion should be interesting bc there are several desperate teams, but Sabres are even more desperate to not ruin what’s working. Sabres probably see Ellis as the future. Like, what if they like him more than Levi – Can they circumvent a little by keeping him on IR?
I'm so happy after all these years, I can look fans of other teams in the eye
We got so lucky yesterday not taking anything away the best shooter they have missed the net by a mile then they missed an empty. Net twice lol 😂 and literally an open net Lyon was behind it 😂😂😂😂😂 go Sabres
Kids have been important often in the 91 point season Cozens, JJ and Quinn were it, in 2005 it was Vanek, Roy and pomminville
Lyon injured. Season over.
The Sabres have legitimate depth. When Zucker and Kulich are both healthy, that will be interesting, although Kulich still has a lot to prove. I've really liked the play of Benson, Doan and Malenstyn this season and the Benson, McLeod, Quinn line is a very good 3rd line in my opinion. I also think that in addition to depth, the Sabres have flexibility, with numerous guys who can play on any line. Also, the defensive core is really starting to come into it's own.
42 games to go and u are obsessing about whether they are or are not officially in a playoff spor? we get tbe idea: they are currently very much in the race
Watching other games now is fun because they now mean something to the Sabres
I love that all of the “Locked On” channels and other podcasts are talking about the Sabres right now…And in a good way!
The Locked on Blues podcast asked “Can the Sabres be stopped” and Locked on NHL said the “Surging Sabres Win again”! It feels good to finally hear positivity and praise for a change!
Sabres on a warpath!
WE WANT GASP! TEN!
We’re pretty much the youngest team in the league. If management doesn’t fuck this up, we have the talent to be formidable in the playoffs for years to come
Isnt Lyon hurt? Just popped up today I think.
