The HCD took revenge for last year’s defeat at the Spengler Cup. On Tuesday evening, they defeated defending champions Fribourg-Gottéron 3-1 on their way to the final. Matej Stransky, Tino Kessler and Simon Ryfors scored for the home side. Goalkeeper Luca Hollenstein provided excellent support.
