  1. The reality is THEY LOST TO TEAM WHO COULD AFFORD TO LOOSE 15 IN A F ING ROW ! I personally don’t care how many wins the Avs have ! They can afford to loose , the Kings didn’t approach it that way . They were content to be respectful, not finish there checks and see what happens , exactly why they lost more so then Colo bing so great

  2. My thing is this. Every single team has atleast one top 50 player. Kings don’t even have that. Colorado has mackinnon makar and necas, we really need a star player to help this team get some motivation. If our best player (Kempe) can’t get a goal on a breakaway like that then no one will.

  3. Avs 4th leading scorer has 1 point less than Kempe who leads kings in pts. In two games so far, Colorado has outscored kings 9-3. Sobering stats for those who still think this kings team is going somewhere.

  4. on Josh,
i think he's the heir apparent. been listening to his calls for Ontario and felt he was going to replace Nick Nickson.

i get how things unfolded right now, but i think it is only temporary. Josh will be the next play by play guy for LA.

  5. Why is it that when the Kings start a game playing physical hockey and they are competitive that same game doing so, they let up continuing to do so whereas their opponent can keep up the physical play? I mean really WTF?!!!

Watching the Colorado broadcast and their announcers were even commenting that the Kings were finishing their checks early as were the Av's and they mentioned it may start get chippy because there were even some open ice hits taking place and then it just all of a sudden stopped, and the Kings stopped doing so and you could just see the flow of the game change.

  6. Not even the goalie’s fault. 1st goal was partially screened by Doughty after his turnover. 3rd goal was above the shoulder between the mask and glove (one of the hardest saves to make) no matter who was in net when it’s a perfect shot as it was. 2nd Foresberg stopped the initial deflection caused by CiCi. 4th was a 5th was a wide open net with all 5 players on the opposite side.

And the QB experiment needs to end. Put him in a package deal and go after Tage Thompson.

  7. Forechecking ,finished there checks, played physical even the Avs anouncers were astonished on kings play…and penalty kill 4 for 4 on the kill…this was the most best ive seen them play against the best TEAM in the NHL

  8. This year I haven't been a fan of pulling the goalie esp against a great team like Colorado. Hopefully the team can bounce back against Tampa

  9. I’m not unhappy with the Kings’ effort. They played a solid game. COL is simply better, probably two tiers better. If LA scored 5, COL would’ve scored 7. I had COL winning 5-2 before the game, and that’s exactly what happened; however, the Kings played better than I had anticipated. Park and ride.

  10. They looked good for the first 10 minutes. Then the Avs cranked it up and the Kings couldn't compete. Avs have a true #1 forward, a true #1 defenseman and a really good goalie (we saw this before in 2012-2014). Avs skill level is way above that of our Kings as evidenced by their puck movement and passing. The fact that Luc and KH is still trying to sell us on "win now" when you watch a team like the Avs is ludicrous.

  11. I swear I've never seen pulling the goalie work for this team. If they struggle on the powerplay.. what do they think an extra attacker would provide for them other than jumbling up to positions? Would have been a better outcome if they just trusted the 5 attackers to even it up.

  12. Cihar of Czech 🇨🇿 republic is 4th in scoring in the junior world championships. Mcmorrow of USA has 3 pts with goal and 2 assists. Chovan of Slovakia, 0 pts in 3 games. Greentree of Canada 0 pts in 2 games. Other 2 prospects are goalies, Rimpinen of Finland and George of Canada. Rimpinen 2-1 record and George 2-0 so far.

  13. One thing Im tired of is the fact that kings play a style of let’s play defense an see what opportunities come up for us to try to create a push to create offense. Instead of let’s attack with a strong forecheck and make our opportunities happen . This is evident in every game that why they are always playing from behind and can’t compete. Once and a while they get sick of it and just come out score one early and have a decent chance to win a game , but this let’s just have a strong defensive stand and see what happens well you can see how that’s going . The system sux the coach all top management has to go they control the style of play their system by the very nature of its design it fails . The coach lost the room a long time ago last year in the playoffs
Bad judgements , not playing lines and players . It’s not their fault it’s the system that fails them

  14. Let it be a cautionary tale reminiscent to the days of Terry Murray. He used to give press conferences touting the EFFORT. Saying things like when and if we do this or that we can begin to win. The bottom line is that they aren't getting wins. One point in an overtime loss isn't cutting it. They are already behind the Ducks and close to being caught by San Jose. Time to tear it all down and rebuild.

  15. It almost felt like an Avs pp on ours. Seemed like they had way more control than we did with a man advantage. Happy we got a goal but we did not control the puck during that pp.
