  1. Vancouver and Seattle are such useless cities. Both cities have major mental issues. Both have no idea what a Man and a Woman is. Major head problems.

  2. I've been watching the Canucks since '03 when I moved out from Ontario and was there for the Canucks 2011 run when Malhotra was our face-off guy and was known throughout the league for his face-off 'prowess'. He's young but Raty is seriously establishing himself as a similar type player, our coaches even took EP40 off in place of him and sure enough he won a critical draw. Hopefully allvin and rutherford are smart enough to keep him long term.

  3. Let the kids play. Time to unload the UFAs and anyone of value to make room for the kiddies.

  4. Best part of this game was the Kraken jerseys. Second best part was Garland v McCann. Canucks have zero identity. Hope Boesers benched soon

  5. I gotta say, Ohgren going to “quick shot 5 hole” for his next shootout attempt after scoring on a backhand deke is pretty slick.

    This kid has it all!

    Size, speed, shot, hands, smart.

I think the Canucks have really found something in this guy.

Can’t wait to see him continue to develop.

7 games in he has 2 goals, 2 assists, +2, and 2 shootout winners. He’s had a shot on net in every game and his ice time continues to rise – a season high 13 minutes tonight.

He deserves a long look in the top 6. I want to see him play with Petey. It could be absolute cinema.

  6. I have great respect for Foote. I know Tocchet loved him. It's pretty obvious he'd garner respect from players with his career hockey resume. But he really makes bizarre coaching decisions, and attempts to execute a philosophy that simply makes little, if any sense. They have no offense. You wouldn't know it by the way they don't seem to mind taking high risk chances, that powerhouse offensive teams don't mind doing. Last game, Boesers on the PK on a 5 on 3. Boeser? Really? He scratches Debrusk when about three or four other players deserve it far more. If the Canucks goalies don't steal games? They don't win. That's why they are last. And they have one of the best tandems in the league

  7. A couple comments here suggest giving Garland the C. I'm not sure there's a better possible indication of how the Canucks have no leadership if that's the best choice

  8. Shocked that the refs gave that 5v3 penalty, and then gave them the weakest tripping call in OT. But at the end of the day they have been on both sides of the refs calls this season, gotta just take the win.
