Something I noticed, Pickard does a great job at making stops, but he doesn’t have the greatest rebound control, and lets a lot of rebounds back out. Early in the season, Oilers D just sat back and watched opponents gorge themselves on second chances. Tonight though, the oilers defence actually defended, with the one Jets goal being a missed rebound. The Oilers really show how good or bad a team can be when not everyone is doing their job.

Pickard was 6-2 in the playoffs last year as a back up….Skinner badly outplayed Oettinger in the WCF 2 Years in a Row!!!…."The Problem" was NOT, and IS not goaltending…….It's what the team decides to do in front of them.
