Is it really surprising, Cam that Rossi has struggled playing on a team that managed to suck the life out of all offensive players last year – led by Adam Foote and Rich Tocchet. He has good linemates – whether they're a first or second line – it's the same players and even though EP40 is out of the lineup and would perhaps take away some first-line match-ups, one would hope Rossi would still show more offensive flare.
I which you guys would stop calling the behind the net puck pickup a Michigan. Michigan is a state name. That move is like an Indian Pickup in Lacrosse.

Even if we move, we're losing the trade because we're losing value. When we do trade him, who's giving us a 1c? Use your heads morons. With Petey, Rossi, Raty, Cootes, + + + we're deep at the center position. If we trade Petey, we'll have to use another FRP + whatever we get from Petey's trade to get another 1c and who's giving that up these days? Come at me all you want but use your heads when it comes to logic. $11.6m is not expensive for a 1c. Maybe if we put actual players that can work with Petey than shove anyone on his line and hope it works maybe half of you dumb fans will shut up because everyone just reads the stat page and assume he doesn't do anything. Why are all Vancouver sports media idiots? The Philly game was the Canucks 3 in 4 nights and 5th in 9 days on an Eastern road trip that they went 4 and 1 after trading their Captain and with out EP40. Not sure if they get off crapping on the team or are just that stupid.
If Petey is a 80 point defensively responsible center his contract wont look that bad as the cap goes up. Just need to draft and develop a proper 1c with size and aggression to steal Peteys spot.
Ohgren, Lekkerimaki and Rossi as a line?
Toc seems to have more talent to work with then Foot does right now. But if we trade well and get so high draft picks for the next 3 or so seasons then this team can start making a run.
