  1. I had mentioned at the start of the year that our second line would become our first without much appreciation for it before the start of the season. Our second line will be our first when we get the “” 2c. Everyone becoming what they were projected to be and then some up to this point is great. Dach on line 1 before his string of injuries was beasting. If we get healthy we will be very legit. As of this year.

  2. Kirby Dach will end up at the wing with Suzuki and Caufield when he comes back. I will certainly play 5 to 10 games and get injured again but he is the only fit for now. Bolduc needs to play on a third line for now. But no rush to trade if you don't get a superstar winger or a very good 2nd center. All is good for this year. Next year will be the one to go after the big one or two difference making players to start setting the table for the stanley cup runs for the next 10 years hopefully

  3. Simple we make 1 trade and we got 3 number 1 lines in 2.5 yrs ..guhle for iginla …
    Slaf-hage-demigod
    Cauf-suzi-iginla
    Zahrovky- kapinin- bolduc

  4. Guys I’m in sync with the boys! I was chanting BUZZER BEATER GOAL, BUZZER BEATER GOAL! My word when slaf blasted that thing I was in crazy mode!😅

  5. lol Demidov, kapanen Slafkovsky Gell very well together. you could see the instant chemistry as soon as they were paired… like this is not just Slaf game evolving here. having guys who read off one another, and know each of their tendencies go a long ways. like Chemistry has a big thing to do with their success. and them working as a cohesive unit. while yeah, i'm little concerned for the top line. i can't see Marty touching the 2nd! you're filling one hole, only to leave another. if aint, broke dont fix it.

  6. Shane Wright must feel like shi* now. He's having a really difficult season. Slaf's success is certainly not making him feel better.

  7. Slav been saying he stays on line 2. He's clicking there. Cole and Nick arent gone. The fukken depth is there.

Everyone fight me and disagree, let's go. It works.

No word on Fowler in tonights game. He was good. Bad stat line but no fukken way an easy goal

  8. We forget that Dobson was in the running for a Norris trophy just 2 seasons ago. When he has his confidence he is one of the top dmen in the league.

  9. I was one of the people that was shocked they picked slaf over several other options including Wright lol. Not to say i was upset, just shocked lol.

Then I seen glimpses his first year though not as many as I thought for a first overall pick.

Almost every game this year I have seen, he has done something or made a noticeable impact at the minimum in some way, even if not on the scoreboard.

To being dominant in very noticeable stretches and being the driver of his line, and I mean HIS line.

  10. I like the Kapanen line right now, keep it together. I like Dach on Suzuki’s wing when he comes back. Looking like 2 really solid lines that can drive the play and give teams trouble. Go Habs go!

  11. Slaf will go back to the first line when Newhook comes back. (When is he coming back?)
Demidov, Kap & Newhook were a great line.
I can actually see our third line being Dach, centering Texier and Bolduc

  12. Texier appearing on the first line in Montreal! I bet he didn't have many opportunities like that in Saint-Louis.

  13. Why would you put Slav back to be a subservient on the first line when he is proving he can be a driver on the second line?

  14. I have to disagree with you Jesse.

Leave Slaf on the Kap/Demidov line. He is playing better than he ever has.

But Bolduc has to go on that top line.

  15. SLAFZILLA MAN!!!! THIS BROKEN IT ALL HAHAHAHA HE NAILED IT ALL MAN THE TEAM HAD TO WIN IT FOR HIM FOR GOD SAKE
    FAWK

  16. Worthwhile remembering the last time the Habs played the Lightning they got manhandled -6-1. So taking the game into a shootout after a great comeback is a big improvement.

I've always tbought Slafkovsky played a lot like Frank Mahovlich. Sometimes he looks like he's not doing much, but with his size, and those long strides, he gets lots done without looking like he's working that hard. I have a lot of faith that he will be a great asset to the team for years to come.

  17. Texier deserves a chance to he on top line. So far i have seen working him very well with Suzy and Cole. When Kirby and Newhy comes MSL can really do also third line strong. I think fans are too harsh on Zach. Patience with him though thats something what #habs fans dont have like with Slaf when they are now proved wrong. DO NOT TOUCH DemiKapaSlaf line

  18. Chlapci v prvom rade pozdrav zo Slovenska. A teraz Slafa.a návrat do prvej formácie. Nechajťe Slafa v druhej ,tam to klape a budú ešte robiť zázraky.

  19. I said a couple of games ago that he's looking like a monster…and someone commented "naah, I'd say finally looking consistently okay". We'll see if he keeps this going, but after tonight I don't think there's any question.

  20. Once Newhook and Dach are back. We will see how it all falls together. Dach has had success with Suzy & Cole and Newy has had success with Kaps & Demi. Going to be interesting.

  21. When everyone fit:

    Caufield – Suzuki – Dach
    Slaf – Kapanen – Demigod
    Texier – Newhook – Bolduc
    Anderson – Danault – Gallagher

  22. SLAV SHOULD LOOK INTO SHORTENING HIS STICK…… HE IS STILL STANDING UPRIGHT … WHEN HE BENDS DOWN MORE HE WILL SCORE MUCH MUCH MORE.
