I'm a diehard Oilers fan and have been since they were in the WHA. I am sick and tired of McDavid playing games with the Oilers. He is plainly going to play out his contract and then walk away from the Oilers leaving them with nothing. The Oilers fans and community have put approximately $100M in his pocket so far and the Oilers need to put a date like October 1st/2025 that he signs an extension or he names a team he's willing to be traded to and then the Oilers need to trade him. STOP SIMPING TO AN EMPLOYEE!!! That's very bad business practice!!! If the Oilers trade him, they can load up on very good players and draft picks as well as the $12.5M salary cut.
