Marchand slashing on Bussi – Tough Call Recommendation

Marchand slashing on Bussi – Tough Call Recommendation

Brad Marchand is at it again, this time slashing Brandon Bussi in the nether regions prior to scoring a goal. There was no penalty called, and amazingly, the goal was allowed to stand.

  1. At full speed do you think he was like "oh the two defenders are looking that way! OH my player has it!"
    … c'mon 😂

  2. I usually agree with your calls, but not this time. I am a Bruin fan, so I've seen plenty of Marchand's antics. This is barely a tap to a goalie's pad; it shouldn't have been enough to knock Bussi down. Remember, Bussi was a Bruin. I'm sure he knows Marchand. I suspect Bussi was looking for the call. This is why diving is such a bad idea. If Bussi was trying to get the call, he lost in the worst way. As much as I want the dirty Panthers to lose, I cannot call that a penalty.

  3. Love him as your teammate, hate him otherwise.
    Nut job all the way.
    You gotta love his intensity.

  4. That's a "shot" to trick the goaltender and move defenders to collapse on the net- which allows the puck to be moved without being contested. Players do it all the time- maybe not to that degree, but at least moving the stick in/around the goalie to make him believe the puck is free.
