  1. If guys listen closely you can hear aziz's 300 pound footsteps running down his staircase to try drop a comment right away

  2. “[the knee] is a long way from the heart.” – Simon Ed. I fucking love this team.

  3. "Simon says game over" Great call that haha! Wings looked flat for a lot of the game tbh but then the Seider goal seemed to wake them up. Talbot was solid again and battled hard. Beautiful GWG from Big Ed. I like ASP but he needs to learn you don't have time to dwell in the NHL, that turnover for the Leafs second goal was awful. Beating the Leafs always seems to be extra pleasurable.

  4. Red Wings +/- leaders over the last 15 games

Patrick Kane +12 (in 9 games)
    Moritz Seider +10
    Simon Edvinsson +10
    Andrew Copp +8
    Alex DeBrincat +7

The Wings are winning 18-3 with Kane on the ice over his last 9 games.

  5. Why do Kane and DeBrincat continue to be separated in OT? The excuse he used to use was "they're both wingers". Now he has Finnie out with DeBrincat ahead of Kane each of the last 2 times. It is absurd. They were ridiculously dominant tonight at 5v5 together. In fact not only should those 2 play OT together, the 3rd guy out w them should be Andrew Copp playing the d-man role. That line destroys the opponent all game then none of them play together in OT.

  6. Copp Cat Kane line analytics, for anyone worried their mojo would be broken by 6 games off/injury

    13:28
    corsi 20-8
    fenwick 18-5
    shots on goal 13-4
    expected goals 1.07 – 0.27
    scoring chances 14-5
    high danger chances 5-1

    The other 3 lines combined:

    34:39
    corsi 34-33
    fenwick 24-25
    shots on goal 13-15
    expected goals 0.86 – 1.12
    scoring chances 13-13
    high danger chances 3-7

  7. These draft picks are starting to pan out. It even seems like Rasmussen is playing better, albeit his +/- doesn’t reflect it. Mo was a phenomenal draft pick. There’s plenty coming GR too.

  8. Leafs won't win many games against us for the next ten years with Simon Edvinsson and Moritz Seider paired together

  9. Eddy flopping around, clearly injured, and still trying to block that shot almost brought a tear to my eye. This team has heart man

  10. Wth come on Detroit that was worst game I seen this yr,so talented but fight for puck on boards like little kids. Best team in league but stuck with bad offensive zone plays, this games should be studied
