It's a faux pas to ask Connor about "his list"( preferred teammates) for the Canadian Olympic Team. Too many great Canadian players. Some will be left off the list. Then you have to play the rest of the season against them! Not a good idea to ask a guy to name 5 and omit 92 others. Just saying.

Connor’s always had great personality. People who know him well talk often of his wit. You gotta think context. Not everyone, especially athletes, should offer clownish viral moments like, say, Marchand. When people say McDavid is too wooden and impersonal in his demeanor I feel like they need to give their heads a shake. The man has great character and he exemplifies brilliant leadership. I’ve heard he’s quite witty and funny too. I can see that even behind his serious front. He talks and carries himself better than a lot of other captains and hockey stars, who, again, shouldn’t expected to be a barrel of laughs like Marchand anyway. Yeh this interview’s great. There are other gems too.
I'm surprised that McDoofus managed to keep his mouth closed for the most part. This mouth breather always has his yap open like a baby bird.
What a fantastic interview. Nice to see Connor a bit more loose and confident – he’s earned it and this country loves him.

I loved this interview with Connor so much. I'm glad everyone got to see a side of him we do in Edmonton. It makes a huge difference when you get asked awesome questions and not the same questions he gets over and over again from Edmonton media!
