Brother, everything you just said is right on the money. There are some major problems, and it seems that the team has lost interest. The coaching is INCOMPETENT. Management is horrible. Everyone needs to be fired. This team needs to be dissolved and rebuilt from the ground up. Not one single player on this team is worth building a team around. The Jacobs will not fire Sweeney until they stop selling out the arena. If we Bruins fans continue to buy tickets, we are enabling this bullshit – this FUCKING BULLSHIT.

There’s no problems with our coach, goalies and our defence that other teams don’t have. The difference is our forwards suck. Seriously. They are shit. Apart from Pasta there is not one true top 6 forward. They cant’t carry the puck into the offensive zone. They can’t pass the puck into the offensive zone. They cant make a tape to tape pass when in the offensive zone and they are always one and done. How would you like to be a defence man where there is constant pressure on you? They clear the puck and another wave comes back at them. Even Orr would break. How are these rejects better than Poitras and Lysell? I saw those guys play last year and at least they can skate and carry the puck in the offensive zone. How many times is pasta set up for a one timer and they pass the puck at his feet. zacha is on the pp and he literally gave up the puck twice with no one pressuring him. Its brutal. Whoever picked this lineup should be fired and I bave a feeling this is Neely’s doing. Put some players in there that can make a dam pass
I really expected us to be a bottom 5 team all year. Was pleasantly surprised when they were not only competitive but played with a lot of fight every game. Hoping they can at least return to that.
As far as the retool/ rebuild goes, this offseason is crucial. If they cant make major upgrades to the top 6 and D core, Pasta is not going to carry them to the playoffs. Im not sold Hagens is ready for the NHL watching him at the world juniors and BC, the talent is there but he loses so many boards battles at junior level. He's still trying to stick handle through a lot of guys and its not even working in these lower leagues, at best he needs a season in Providence.
Pastas window is closing, Sweeney has until this offseason to do something, or we lose Pasta at next years deadline. He's gonna be 31 and dealing with injuries, he deserves to chase a cup not mentor a rebuild. This deadline and offseason will determine the Bruins future for years to come

Go ahead & blame Korpisalo but blaming him for the Buffalo loss would be like blaming the iceberg for hitting the Titanic
They are rotten defensively & they are so big, slow & lower skilled the speed & skill teams play keep away the puck from them like Buffalo did most of the game
This is also not an injury, mental fatigue, or a condensed schedule related issue
It's not a Swayman issue either, just go look at their 5×5 defensive numbers
The Bruins have grinded Swayman into dust & now he's even beginning to crack & because he was the only one largely keeping the Bruins ship afloat, theyre beginning to sink to the bottom of the NHL ocean
This is the result of one thing & one thing only….
LACK OF TALENT!!!

In other words, this is exactly who we thought they were… I.E. not a very good NHL team
As for Sturm, the decision making has been questionable lately, however, it's worth noting that Don Sweeney hired a coach whose system is predicated on being able to skate & the Bruins are one of the NHL's worst skating teans
Sturm's defensive structure is also man to man based
What does that require to be effective at?
SPEED and the ability to SKATE!!!
Two things the Bruins are largely devoid of

Or trying to add more Hagans, Zellers, Moores other prospects and or draft picks to this team that's in desperate need of both speed & skill?

After much research, it's clear that there's a direct correlation between the Bruins' horrible play and the frequency of Low-Qual's cursing. Based on recent performance, we can expect this channel to get an R rating very soon. 😀
Mittlestadt 0 0 0 -2. 5.7 million. Sturm's mantra was defensive play before the season. They needed to get rid of Leach and Kelly last year, but Sweeney definitely prevented that. Sweeney's seat is getting hotter
The Providence Bruins ran up the score last night 7-1. Poitras looked good 2 goals 3 points, Locmelis got his 9th goal of the season while Brett Harrison had a strong game netting his 4rth goal in the process. As bad as things are going for the Papa Bs the baby bs are looking stronger.

Hate to say this, but this team has been much worse since McAvoy and Pasta come back. Charlie still playing cautious because of injury, and Pasta, running around and losing Pucks. Keep an eye on this. Missing Aspirot a lot, never thought I say that.
Starting to feel like the playoffs are slipping away. I don't think a 3-week break is going to do them any good.
I’d surmise that they’re afraid that if they move any top 6 to a bottom 6 spot that that player might get mad or something.
But we need the puck retrieval players and I still don’t understand moving steeves down to bottom 6 – he’s not a superstar but he was solid and held his own plus can score.
Also, I thought there was some improvement from Lohrei and that he works well with kolyachonok
I'm starting to think that we were overachieving at the start of the year and the team is starting to show what we expected them to be.
Hampus has always been one of my favorite players since we traded for him, but man he has been really rough this year. I wanna give him a little grace because he’s coming back from a pretty serious injury, then got banged up again early in the season. But at some point those aren’t excuses anymore and he HAS to be better, especially wearing the A. The defense as a whole has been bad, but it’s really frustrating watching him struggle so much when he’s expected to be one of your top guys.
I hope they can find a way out of this rut and get back to playing the way we were seeing a few weeks ago. I still believe in this team and their ability to win.
