Igor Chernyshov had the game-winning goal and an assist, Macklin Celebrini buried his 20th goal of the year and Yaroslav Askarov made 24 saves to help the San Jose Sharks beat the Vancouver Canucks 6-3.

    Queefer Sherwood, Zeev Bumbum, Thatcher Dumbko and the rest of the Basement Boys lose! 8th in the Pacific, 16th in the West and 32nd in the NHL… gotta love it!

    Home woes continue. Every time the Canucks score, the Sharks keep on finding a way to restore a two goal lead. Now Canucks are back to being dead last.

    How do Canucks do bad at home as opposed to on the road when theyโ€™re really good?

    Canucks on the road look like a playoff team, but when theyโ€™re at home they play like the worst team in the NHL ๐Ÿ˜ตโ€๐Ÿ’ซ

    First win for the sharks in Vancouver since the 2018-19 season. Overall a really solid game. Celebrini as per usual was great. Congrats to Chernyshov on his first career goal. Askarov was fine, not a great outing but not a bad one. Nice to see the 3 game skid snapped.

    I laughed so hard when they pulled Demko and right when he got to the bench there was a Sharks player skating toward the net and they scored, lol. That was so symbolic of whatever Foote's coaching style is. If the team is truly "hybrid retooling" or whatever then unload Demko, Garland, Sasson, Karlsson, O'Connor in which packages to get some more 1st round picks for the draft. Three to five 1st rounders would be awesome.

    what was the deferance between this game and the last four .
    the canucks stoped putting players into the glass for four games they were not letting players touch the puck without eating glass we dont want canucks that dance around we want canucks that take what they want and stop letting players just sit in fronmt of the net whats that about .

    I've been watching them for 40 years and have come to a conclusion. ;( I had a dream about 20 years ago. I was an old man in my 80's I am 50 this year. My dream was watching the Canucks lose yet another game seven in the Final, and listening to the hockey commentator say, "the Canucks still have not been able to win a Stanley Cup". It felt real. I still watch as many games as I can.
