  1. Martone is the worst captain in Canada history. He took multiple dumb penalties and acted very childish. The kid needs to stop the dumb stuff and take his captaincy seriously and be a good example instead of a stooge.

Hage was amazing and shows why he should have been there last year. Hopefully politics of Canadians playing in NCAA is done for good now.
Czechia are a good team and the win will be great for the confidence going forward. Maybe we give the other goalie a chance, I didn't like Georges movement from side to side. He can't stay upright when he tries to go side to side quickly.

  2. Just dropping in to say thanks for the daily Habs content, even during the holidays. Go Habs Go!

  3. They continue playing like this and they will not go far.Was not impressed by the collective game.Defence was pretty sketchy….

  4. Honestly… Hage and Parekh were my stand out's by a long shot. Hage dominated and created on almost every shift, Parekh's offensive awareness, timing and release speed is otherworldly. Runner up goes to Iggy jr.

  5. I feel this obsession for a 2C is a bit exagerated. Kapanen is having a terrific rookie season, and he will certainly improve in the coming years. Hage seems to have what it takes to become an elite center in this league. Dach has been plagued with injuries so far, but when he's healthy, he also makes a very good offensive center. And who can tell if Aatos Koivu won't find his place in the NHL as well? As a matter of fact, I think the Habs might have too many good centers in a couple of years from now, they'll have to trade one or two of them. ^^

  6. Ive said this several times.. Hage wont be a legit 2c until after suzi’s current contract is expired.. by the time he is a 2c we might need a 1c.. teams with 20yo 2c’s tend to not perform well in playoffs if at all..

  7. 2c is an established player’s spot.. this team needs guys who are mid 20s to stay within suzi and coles window.. 5 years from now their prime years are over

  8. Hage has elite skating ability and great offensive skills. But he's too light and will be overpowered at the NHL level. He also has to improve his stamina. Once he arrives in Montreal and is around dedicated young athletes like Demidov and Hutson he will hopefully learn what it takes to succeed at the next level. The kid will be a star.

  9. The snipe was great, 3 pts and plus 3. I watched the game. Strangely, he looked kind of slow and had a few give aways. I didn’t think he looked that great to be honest.

  10. I thought his game was decent but not exactly "scary". He has a lot of give aways and did not look that strong on the puck to me. Good vision and shot though.

  11. oh the NHL is soooo terrified….. this is the stupidest video title yet, but i'm sure you'll surpass it.

  12. Keep up the great work Josh and Jesse! Been a Habs fan my whole life and I better be.. My last name is Belliveau!!!

  13. Craig Button raised the possibility of Hage joining the Habs in the Spring. As incredible as that would be, Hage turns 20 in April. He looks very impressive, and his numbers this year are good, but … I just don't see it. And barring something really strange happening, I don't see the Canadiens' management rushing Michael to the NHL. I'm nor sure why Oliver Kapanen–who is in the NHL and is on the Habs' second line–isn't getting more love. And just out of curiosity, I'm wondering why no one has raised the question: can Juraj Slafkovsky play centre? I know his size and strength makes him ideal to win board battles, but the more I watch him make plays and pass the puck, the more he looks like a centre. Think: Ryan Getzlaf.
