  1. Sorry Shannon, you are confused. AVS won the Stanley Cup in 2022. They won the Presidents Trophy in 2021 and were eliminated in the second round. Curse continues.

  2. Sucks that Honzek is out for the season. I thought he was one of the bright spots on the flames. He was turning into a really good forechecker, fighting for pucks on the boards. The Backlund line is worse off without him.

  3. Could the wild have a duo in net to maybe carry them out of the first round this year? Boldy is getting 100 points this year. GO WILD

  4. Let’s be very here, if the stars had the Avs record, there would already be two videos about how amazing they are 🤣🤣🤣.

  5. As much as I’m sure you would like to see the Avs fail, understand that they did about this well in 2001, won the President Trophy, and then the Cup. The last time a team started this well, it was the 2013 Blackhawks, who also went all the way.

Furthermore, the Avs are not playing at their peak yet. There is another level they haven’t reached yet. They still are making mistakes and not usually playing a complete game at this point. If they can reach another level in the playoffs, lookout, NHL.

Finally, this is still early season. Lots of hockey left to play. Who knows if they will keep this pace throughout the rest of the regular season, and you just never know with the playoffs for any team until it actually comes and happens. So let’s not get too ahead of ourselves.

  6. Maybe do a news video and then the extra video so I can watch it at a good time. Only seeing this now very disappointed should be at 1pm or before. Now it's all irrelevant

  7. Avs are missing Nichushkin, O'Connor, Kiviranta, and now Brindley, and Blackwood hasnt looked his best, not to mention the weak PP all year. Crazy thing is if anything, the Avs have yet to peak this season…

  8. avs players are stanley cup winners and winnipegs is not, so i think avs can win stanley cup with presidents trophy😁

  9. Always fun with superstition, but it's not really surprising there's not more President Trophy winners winning the Stanley Cup. Regular season and playoffs are two different beasts.

  10. This is great news for Thomas Milic. He gets the call up for the backup goalie roster spot. His play in the AHL has been very strong on a poor team.

  11. Shannon love you buddy, but avs are not peaking yet… PP has to get better as the season goes on, Nishuskin is injured, Landeskog get's better game by game and they have been running 2nd string goalie for 17 games because Bednar want's to get Blackwood slowly back to phase. Lots to improve on still believe it or not.

  12. Still rimember how lambert played four games in finland with ifk and asked to leave the team because he wasnt quaranteed top 6 role. At this time he was 16-17 years old. He always looked for me to be thinking something about himself that he is not.

  13. Avs are a wagon and will not fall off at any point this year. I’ve been watching this team for 20 years and I’ve never seen them have this type of hunger. Mackinnon wants to hoist more cups and he’s out to prove that he’s the best player in the world. Also, Shannon, your Dallas Stars will not beat the Avs this year.

  14. The Avalanche had made something pretty rare & special this season : they are fun to watch, they play a spectacular brand of hockey (with speed, rhythm and heart), they give everything they have every night, they have 2 of the best and most humble superstars BUT the only things you have in mind is they might have picked too soon and they might be cursed but the president trophy ok 🤔. In my humble opinion your thoughts are coming more from a fan of another team perspective than from a fair observer and lover of the game (which is the way you present yourself but I might be wrong).

  15. Ideally the Jets put Lambert into a package that either gets an established top 6 forward or a top pair RHD. Barring that, making a trade like the Yager/Mcgrorty trade would be ok

  16. I find it funny that we could see a Reichel for Lambert deal only because my cousin has a son who's first and last name are Reichel Lambert

Not saying either side would do that deal or if they should be
