The Wild need to get a top 6 center. It’s a must. The Avs are too much of a wagon this year.
Didn't the Wild beat the Avs earlier in the year? 🤔
Foligno is still a non factor he used to be ok but he's not that person anymore over the last couple seasons
The Wild looked Lazy and overmatched. We looked better before some of the injured came back.
Thanks for the report! Disappointing loss, but no need to panic, either. The game against Nashville is key to see how this team responds.
They were clearly playing on tired legs.
Oilers and Avs on a back to back is just brutal
I am guessing the Wild lost bad to the avs?
Unless you’re gonna get something really good back giving up on Jiricek with him barely getting any opportunities in his normal roles would be a massive mistake.
Fire the NHL commissioner for scheduling errors, that's an absolutely stupid schedule. I don't know what the wild can do to improve roster without giving up key players which makes it a moot point somewhat. Wish Bill all the luck.
It all comes down to Olympic injuries
They still need a stop 6 center (Tage Thompson) and keep in mind, this was also a back to back. (and yes, they have plenty of assets beyond the AHL and rostered players)
I always go back to a couple of years ago when Boston had their amazing regular season, then couldn't muster anything else for the playoffs. Then the stats came out about how No team in the NHL who has dominated the regular season has ever had any luck in the playoffs. Maybe it's ok that we lose every so often.
