Kiefer Sherwood I have alot of interest in him. He's 2nd on the Canucks in points, most goals on the team with 16 on an expiring 1.5 million $ contract after this year. We need a goal scorer sounds like he can get it done and he's a left winger he would fit in perfectly with Cozens and Batherson on that 2nd line which means Perron would be moved down to the 4th line. But O'Reilly & Schenn are too expensive don't have the cap space for them and we are good for center depth so we don't need to bring in another center with Schenn or O'Reilly

Mathews is playing this way in order to force a trade.They he’s a Centre but he just takes the draw…he doesn’t make plays, creat opportunities, hold on to the puck or lead rushes. He has all of 10 assists all year. He wants out. Knies scored 26g last with Mathews and the Teams BEST player, Marner. He cleaned up the garbage left when Mitch or Captain Heatless missed. Their GM inexplicably was hired after single-handedly killing the Flames and he’s doing the same in Hogtown. His additions have contributed nothing. And his choice for Coach was horrible as well. Chief, Yosemite Sam (Tortalini) was fortunate enough to be the Coach when a particular zTeam was GREAT…timing doesn’t qualify you as a great bench boss.Looking at the lines is Testimony, he is lost. Oh, who made the decision to tear the C off a Leader and pin it on someone who doesn’t care? Mtbguess it was a Bean Counter (Pelley) to move Merch…a real Hockey Man would NEVER make that call.
