What a pile of…

The Canadiens fell 7–2 to the Avalanche in Denver — Colorado dominated from start to finish. Brock Nelson led the way with two goals and two assists, reaching the 600-point milestone, and Gabriel Landeskog also scored twice while Nathan MacKinnon chipped in a goal and two assists. The Avalanche quickly established a 4–0 lead and never looked back. For Montreal, Ivan Demidov and Lane Hutson got the goals, but the team struggled to contain Colorado’s rush-offense.

  1. Frustrating game! But you knew this would be a mountan with an Avalanche on it, I'm just glad the roadtrip was mostly good.

Hope you're all doing well – gonna go get to bed because I wanna be fresh again tomorrow. Have a good night guys and girls.

  2. the avs are kinda on fire ? yea just went 11/13 in November and 13/13 games with points lol possible 26 points got 24 no big deal lol

  3. Garret Rank. That is why. Plain and simple yeah we probably wouldve lost but not to that degree. Absolutely HORRENDOUS officiating and same ref from the Oilers game, dude was out there just making up phantom penalties for whoever. They even staring right at them dont call penalties that would be penalties anyday of the week. Than literally gives us the penalty for roughing..If the ref doesnt do his job the players will so of course he is going to react when the ref is staring right at them and doesnt call anything.

Not even Dobes fault. Whole heartedly blame the officiating. Garret is the biggest POS and in every game now if he is on, it is going to be a wash. Soon as i saw his name i was like welp… that pretty much sums up how this one is going to go.

Good news is, we will get to watch the Avs get absolutely dicked by the stars once again in playoffs so that is a bonus. Game was brutal officiating. Garret Rank should NEVER be on that ice plain and simple. Dude needs to be fired.

  4. Refs are terrible every game. The takeaway from this game is that the Habs got scored on six times at even strength with the majority of the goals coming due to defensive breakdowns.

  5. the goal interference, the guys that covered the one that rushed our goalie, didnt touch him, he tripped because the one he covered FALL on him, the goaler wasnt able to do his job BECAUSE the puck was right where these 2 were sliding right beside him in the blue zone, it was clearly a NO GOAL, if the puck were in BEFORE he get the interference thats when you say its good, if its synchronized like this ITS NOT GOAL, then why that freaking rule then -.-

  6. Habs are missing a whole top 9 line, playing 4 rookies, 3 games in 4 nights against 3 good teams on the road

No excuses, they can play better.

Slaf and Demidov are a good duo, they are a top 2C from having a better chance

Ghule is sorely missed you can’t run Matheson as much as he’s playing. 5 minutes way too many for Chaos Gazelle…

Being Blais up need some size, preferred Florian with Evans Andy

Gally doesn’t have the foot speed nor does Florian so expecting their forecheck to work is not ideal against fast skilled teams

Blais over Texier against big teams is what I’d do.

    Florian back with 17-71

  7. Now, here's the thing about the controversial goal, and why Marty probably lost his challenge.

There is no goalie interference, because indeed, it is Anderson's skate that pushes Dobes. Watch it carefully.

Marty probably challenged that, and lost.

What should have been challenged is the fact that Landeskog does interference on Anderson, causing them to crash into Dobes.

If St-Louis had challenged that, and not the goalie interference, he might have won.

  8. Might be the most cope I’ve ever heard in my life. Montreals defense is just dogshit. Get over it

  9. I find it extremely frustrating that so many people are surprised at Carrier's performances and are throwing him under the bus.
Last season he was mostly paired with Mike Matheson, Canadien's number 1 defenseman.
This year he's playing with Xhekaj… The Canadien's number 8…

    People REALLY need an explanation?
You can't have good stats when you're spending 50% of your ice time mopping up after your partner's every mistake!

  10. good lord your team got steamrolled and your complaining about super iffy non calls… the avs had one power play until half way into the third until montreal was just taking frustrating loser penalties at that point. They got out worked all game especially the second period. they didnt touch the puck for over ten minutes and had no answers when colorado was buzzing on them.

  11. The Avs are on a revenge tour this season against the Stars, and the Canadiens just happened to be in the way.

  12. Honestly, this is game was a pretty good example of "Officiating decides the game", yeah the Avalanche played pretty well but they got the few extra pushes ahead from the officiating. I don't think it's Dobes' fault, even some of the Habs said (during the after game media conference/can't remember who, was it Gallagher or Matheson?), said that it was not his (Dobes) fault and that they left him out to dry (as you said as well). As a goalie too (I can't fully relate, since I'm nowhere near these guys' level), but it's very difficult to deal with when games like this happen. I really hope he doesn't beat himself up over this and that he and the Habs can come on strong on Tuesday against the Senators. Great video!

  13. Even if Necas held the stick, he was being sat on, basically held, and then the habs player tried to start a fight. The call seemed fair to me that they both went to the box.

  14. I'm from Finland. Started following Habs because of Laine. I don't have the means to watch the games, I only watch your recaps. So I would prefer if you don't spill the beans early in the video or show revealing score boards in the thumbnail.

But I'm just 1 little dude, so you do as you like. I've subscribed and your videos are entertaining and informative either way.

  15. Think avs just annoyed losing to wild(division)
Habs forwards tried best , defence wasn't great against breakaway play
    That's on habs not refs

  16. Can we trade Coach ???? I just wish goalies win a game let them play out the streak poor Dobes MSL should of pulled for his confidence.

  17. Someone watched the game with their sore Montreal glasses on. Sorry bud, your team got waxed, even if you make believe it was a conspiracy.

  18. The algorithm sent me your video, and as an avalanche fan I want to say that you were pleasant to listen to and I enjoyed what we had to say. Just to add a little extra information to why the coaches challenge was an unwise decision, they were planning on calling a penalty on the play anyways. I was at the stadium and the corner ref had his hand up to call for a penalty before calling it a good goal. Even if the Canadians won the challenge they would have gone on the penalty kill regardless. Considering it if it was a 50/50 call it seems like it it was almost lose-lose to challenge the play. If you win you go on a penalty kill, if you lose the Avs get a goal and you go on pk. I look forward to checking back in on your videos the next time our teams play! Keep up the good work! Not sure I agree with your assessment on all of the calls outside of that, but I think we both root for our own teams. Good luck in the playoff race and the East!

  19. yeah as an avs fan those are a lot of missed calls, but also, i felt like the avs deserved some calls going their way after like atleast 25 missed calls vs the wild the night before.

  20. What a sorry ass video 😂 yall got fucking waxed and you act like the refs cost you the game. Maybe acknowledge the major gap in talent between the Canadians and Avs 🤷‍♂️

  21. Just letting you know that for some reason hasn't been putting my subs high up on the suggested list. I knew there was a game so I came looking.

  22. This is how the Aves play every night. And like it or not they get away with more of these little moves to get the win. They are the Kansas City Chiefs of the NHL right now. Refs like this are why sports are going to be nothing but for the betting game. Look for more controversial gaming incidents like the NBA/ MLB incident from this summer.

  23. WOW! What a homer! I mean I get it, but the Habs got crushed, none of the so called bad calls would have made any difference in the outcome.
