Hutson is darn good for his age and size. Dobson is just an average d-man not worth his pay cheque. MSL needs to manage his players TOI better if he wants them sharp come April/May.
While the Habs had Ken Dryden in their system, they had Rogie Vachon (23) and Tony Esposito (25), then they brought in 21 year old Phil Myre.
All three of those Goalies had long NHL careers.
Vachon & Esposito are in the HoF.
Our goalie depth makes it feel like we’ll be playing against a few of these guys down the road.

Please stop with the Hage hype? I've read four articles today about who has impressed in Canada's World Junior pre-tournament games. Not one mentioned Hage once. There's gotta be a reason why Hage never made the WJ team before, and why he's not in the conversation as a difference-maker on the WJ team this year (except with Habs fans).
