I'll say it again Mathews and Nylander are playing it safe for the Olympics. I'm starting to believe Leaf players are playing "HIGH" How else can one explain the dom dom plays? Watching Mathews with less than a minute of play and the team leading 2-1 do such a dom play is inexcusable. Leaf games used to be entertaining, now they're boring like hell. Waste of time!!! Not going to embarrass myself watching Leafs against Dallas. Hate to see the final score against Dallas on Sunday. Hate to say this but Leafs are spoiled brats.
Ive been watching hockey for 50+ years, the leafs have had some pretty bad teams in that time, but ive never seen a team like this. This is just a circus, somebody do something!
They just need to continue to tank, trade off as many secondary pieces as they can and get picks/prospects back in return. I believe they are now bottom of the East, so hopefully they continue to lose so thry can get there first round pick back from Boston since its top 5 protected. That would be the only saving grace to this season

Leafs have not had anyone proper who knew how to build a team since Fletcher and Quinn. Kessel, BozAK, Kadri, Steen, Kaberle, ect… who were all driven out of town, all went on to become instrumental pieces in cup runs with other teams. What the hell has Fat Burke or Kyle Dumas done since leaving the leafs. LOL Keep blaming Leafs players, that will work LOL SMH
