He was a LT @ Tulsa. He did great as a rookie in place of Tyron. So yes he should be the LT.

They need to reshuffle the oline if they release Steele, move Guyton to RT, and move one of the back ups in or sign a free agent LG.

No, he's a future hall of famer at guard. He's not at tackle. Because we haven't found our perfect LT yet doesn't mean we give up. Let's draft another LT If we are not willing to give Guyton more time.
And Yes Tyler Guyton has some injuries issues that need to be taken care of..
I do agree they make so many mistakes and they wait way to long to correct the problem by the time they fix the problem we have loss so many games..
I agree 100% … the Cowboys wait way to long to admit they have made a mistake with a draft pick and usually give them too much opportunities to fail. This flaw is endemic so to speak with the management of the organization.
He should have never been moved from left tackle
I completely agree and hope that Guyton can end up being that dog on the right side. I haven't been a Terrence Steele guy

SMFH. You mean the "MOVE "TYLER" SMITH "BACK TO" OLT – "AFTER" – they drafted OL "TYLER" GUYTON, AND MAKE GUYTON THE ORT THAT "I" – AND "SO MANY OTHERS" SAID – REPEATEDLY?" The Jones' – and "THEIR" Coaches – are ALWAYS SO DAMN LATE TO THE PARTY. SMFH. What gets me about this whole thing is, it's "EASIER" to find an OG than it is to find an OT. You can "COVER UP" an OG's "DEFICIENCIES" "EASIER" (having the CENTER "HELP HIM OUT", etc) than you can an OT (often left out on an island – BY HIMSELF, etc) – at least I always thought so.

Put your best 5 lineman on the field plain and simple.
Finding a bookend LT is just as difficult as finding a great corner or a very good to great QB. They just don't grow on trees that's why there is never great young LT searching for jobs. You either draft them or pay a premium in a trade to get one.
I agree Tyler is a probowl/all-pro guard but he's young and currently also the best tackle we have on the team so that tells you how drafting a great LT has went for us over the last few years. It's much easier to find a good guard to than finding a good LT. Guyton can't stay healthy and he's also a liability at LT. At least with Tyler over there you know he's going to be solid maybe even great if you let him work at his technique.
You play around and end up drafting another Guyton.
You already see you have a dominate lineman in Tyler who can function at LT better than average. Use your early picks to fix your defense and offensive weapons

I think our best line gonna be. LT Ty smith. LG .Nate Thomas ..C. Beebe ..RG..Booker ..RT…T Guyton… I think Nate Thomas will be a beast guard. Very powerful at point of contact. At tackle he was struggling in open space. But at guard he will be able to anchor very well keeping that pocket clean for Dak
Now can we move Cooper Beebe back to guard instead of center?
