Rielly is simply on the wrong chair, we’ve had a similar situation (for a much shorter time) with Matheson in MTL, he was very productive upfront, but clearly had to constantly cheat in other aspects of his game to keep up with his first pair responsibilities.
Ever since Hutson and now Dobson joined up, he’s playing really really well in general, to the point that former haters who wanted to trade him away asap, now wants to resign him for even more $.
He's got 15 points in 18 games to start the year… And yet a -4. That shouldn't be a thing. I agree he's been horrendous defensively these past 2-3 seasons.. the cracks started to show last season.. he's 😊
At the end of playoffs last year Morgan Reilly was on my list of leafs who should be gone Mitch Marner should not have been the only one to leave Max Domi is another one that should be traded

Morgan makes the guys that play with him worse. He leaves them out to dry almost every shift. I cringe everything he is on when the puck is in our end. I've only seen him play two ok games this year. Reminiscent of Gardner. Time to go try a new team.
