  1. as you say, comrie's start's point % was 7/22, and this was a missed opportunity to point out that this is the inverse of a commonly-used approximation of pi (22/7), and I would just like to point that out.

  2. Agree with Waders. Embrace the tank. Get a good first round draft. We need that. League is getting younger and faster. We have to start somewhere.

  3. Leadership is not living in reality. We are a lottery pick team. Focus on a quick re tool and seek assets for picks.

  4. Yes Ehlers gave Perfetti a lot more open ice. Also Ehlers was the driving force on that line. When he left the Jets lost their whole second line.
Tough to line in NHL with only one line. Chevy made a bad assessment. And now they are at the bottom of the league. Doesn’t take much.

  5. Renny is 100% on this season. Only add a player for the future long term but definitely hang on to the first round pick and accept a disappointing season.
Adding a top 3 pick is our best hope of winning a cup in the next 5 years

  6. @56ish. Yes. Frame the expectations differently, and be honest with the fans about the plan. They will support you. Keep up the lies, and that's when the empty seats and boos reign down. More teams need to do this more, all this BS about if you don't win it's a lost season. Garbage. Only 1 team wins, and when you look and see COL and DAL and FLA and EDM, why not be more realistic?

  7. The Blunt Reality: Sean Reynolds absolutely nails all of this.

The approach and soft touch that Ken wants to bring with this organization will lead to very dark days for the Winnipeg Jets

It doesn’t matter what ā€œthey want to doā€ or that a GM ā€œdoesn’t like the spotlightā€

You are operating a Pro Sports Organization. What you want to do is physically impossible, and will mean longer, darker days for the fanbase every passing year you hold on

Ken needs to start looking out for his audience and paying customer rather than deferring to authority, only one segment of the two will keep paying his bills.

Also, I feel like I’m taking crazy pills every time I hear the ā€œthe building won’t be full, it’s dangerous hereā€.

attendance is declining watching this product already. Apathy is kicking in which is an even bigger hurdle for sports organizations to overcome

I’m a season ticket holder and I can barely give away my extra ticket, no one’s interested in this project. It’s boring. It’s old. It’s stale. And it’s going no where

Thank you Sean for bringing the uncomfortable truths mainstream, the fanbase needs this type of representation.

After all, those execs in suits are only goin to blame the fans when they stop showing up, rather than adjusting if history is any indication.

  8. Great show guys. Completely agree with Sean that fans want honesty from the organization. And some answers to our questions instead of ā€œ the vacuum of silenceā€. Looking forward to seeing the Jets play the Wild – that would be a great win at home.

  9. The current lineup has 3-4 weeks left to see if it can climb back to wild card position. If it can’t, it’s time to move some players and allow the youth to come up and get 30 games under their belts to see what we have.
