  1. Yup. we had one on my peewee team as asst goalie trainer.
    He would have his hand on it so he knew whose stick to give if it broke.
    Even kids are finnicky about their sticks.
    Must be an instinctual GUY thing.

  2. I've been watching pro hockey from ECHL to NHL for over 50 years and I never knew this. How freaking impressive!

  3. Can we all agree, that stick length should be made into chords and then made into songs that play on game replays? Solo accordingly…

  4. Keep yourself sharp. I'm sure he on point in all things he does. If it's worth doing , do it to the BEST of your abilities.

  5. I immediately assumed it was some fan with autism or something with the nickname "stick man". It didn't occur to me it's his job to do this until I read the comments.

  6. He does that so he has his eye on the player in case there stick breaks so they can skate pass the bench and grab there backup.
