Sorry steve but a new coach ain't fixing shit, the leafs have been abysmal this year but they've also fallen way too short of expectations for at least a decade if not longer, if berube cant fix these clowns then they are just screwed. They've been through how many coaches at this point? And still haven't got past the 2nd round, i want both nylander and matthews gone not to mention a handful of others. The names i would keep are Knies, Hilldeby, Cowan, Tanev, OEL, Laughton and anyone else on the 3rd line. Everyone else can go

This. This right here is what people have to understand. One player (Willy) has not had injuries and is just pouting (not great but atleast may fix itself). The other (matthews) is apparently made of glass and has had significant injuries and is not the same ( not sure this will change).

Stevo… You just need to accept who Willy is. An opportunist with fast legs and a wicked shot. He isn't going to go hard into the corners. His back checking is half hearted (and that's being generous). But the boy puts the puck in the net. So shut up and organise his line around that ethos.

You can't keep firing coaches. On occasion the players are just lazy. You could have the most talent in the world but if you are lazy you can't beat the guy with a quarter of the talent.
