short We’re gonna look at plays that can get you beat These are plays from the Alabama um South Carolina game and these are plays that Alabama’s gotta clean up if they wanna win a national championship Alabama’s having a great season so now we’re gonna take a look at these plays This first play it’s uh first and 10 from the 34-yard line and this is one where Ty gets sacked and the pass protection just breaks down So let’s look at this Uh you’ve got Ty under center Uh Ty then takes the snap and he goes he does play action and then you can see Daniel Hill and you can see there’s a blitz on and Ty’s got guys coming from both sides There’s a 6man blitz Got Ty’s got people coming from both sides and he’s also got a guy that’s gonna break free up the middle Uh you can see Daniel Hill trying to lay the block He misses the block on the edge and then Daniel Lewis also misses the block Cuevas tries to help Ty feels the heat He steps up in the pocket and then you’ve got a guy coming free in the middle as well as uh it breaks down So Ty’s essentially getting munched by 3 guys You had 6 guys rushing You had 7 guys in pass protection and it’s just nasty and you can see Ty getting sacked The ball pops out and uh Ty loses the ball South Carolina recovers the ball and um they go on and kick a field goal here to make it 7 to 6 So those type of plays can happen
