@Vancouver Canucks

I’ve literally never seen him like this

Quinn Hughes and Zeev Buium both score on Sunday in their debuts with their new team. We’ve also got the first look at Quinn Hughes SMILING?!? in Eck channel history! That and more in today’s NHL hockey video!

  1. Gets out of the Canucks organization, gets out of a city unaffordable even on an NHL salary, gets to play in a hockey city instead of a bandwagon city, what's there not to smile about?

  2. Hartman's a beaut. The scoring touch is there, but he's also playing old time hockey. I see him as a more likeable, but slightly less dominant, Marchand type.

    Funny guy, too. He has Jordan Binnington on auto-tilt. Hartzy gets within ten feet of Trash Binz and he loses his shit for the rest of the game. It's priceless how many times it's happened.

  3. So happy to have Hughes, and yes WE LOVE HARTZY! You might see some pretty good armchair "GM's" in the comments, but 99.999% of fans and former sports players love Hartman. He took damn pay cut to stay here, while playing on tbe first line. And, he is spicy 🎉😅😅

  4. Hartman is a POS that you hate if he’s not on your team, but he’s our POS so we tolerate him. 😂 His retaliation against WPG was applauded because they took out KK97 with a cheap shot, but then he does what he did agains Ottawa last year and gets 10 games and we were yelling to get rid of him…

  5. I think if MN was in the East they would absolutely be a cup contender but damn they will have a tough road to travel to get to the cup in the west, especially in the central. That said I think that no one is looking forward to playing them first round of the play offs. They are playing great despite the injuries. Plus they have close to $4 mill in cap space to add another asset or two before the deadline

  6. Living in BC and being a new hockey fan I must say I really enjoy watching the Canucks play especially Quinn Hughes Conner Garland and the rest of the long time players. Sad to see him gone I wish sportsnet would televise the Minnesota games in BC

  7. As a Canucks fan, it’s obviously sad to see him leave but I‘m also happy for him, was def the right choice for both parties economically, we couldn’t have afforded the extension anyway… And sad as it is, Petey will probably be next with this shitshow we‘ve got going on…

  8. imagine a captain of a pro sports team, who willingly took on the leadership role and was under contract making $8 schmill a season that was apparently unwilling to find any of this team spirit because the team really sucked but 1 week later he is all shits & giggles, so Quinn your leadership skills are solely based on results and standings, the team strength and on ice results. good for you, may your choices as the guy wearing our C never be forgotten, exactly how much did you bring down your team in the locker room and when representing your team to the media as Captain and for how long, watch his pressers this year and probably last year too, almost unwatchable piss poor body language, facial expressions and choice of commentary and attitude, not bitter just saying his choices when it was not good times is not and never will be Captain material, only when you're winning eh? that's not leadership, that's immaturity bro.

  9. As a Canucks fan I feel so happy for him he deserves the best and was always a good role model hope mini serves him well he better win a cup he is amazing and never created drama

  10. Wild fan checking in — Hartman is a puzzle wrapped in an enigma. He is gritty as hell, and last year was one of the best performers in the playoffs, but there are times when he has singlehandedly lost Minnesota games by taking stupid penalties due to his aggression. He's not quite an enforcer, but he can drop gloves and lay hits. Perfect third liner IMO
