I think McDavid is the greatest skater in nhl history but it takes a special teammate to play with him. Crosby can play with anyone and make them better and still get his.

I would argue McDavid is a better offensive player than Crosby, but Crosby is a better all around player. That is not to say that Crosby is not a very good offensive player, but his ceiling is not as high as McDavid.
