Remember when Zach took a puck to the face, laid on the ice bleeding and they didn’t call the play dead and the Penguins scored? All while Z laid there for 30 seconds with players skating around him…..
Refs, as usual, ignorantly not whistling for a serious injury and making the wrong call. In the CBJ game feed there were different angles where you can clearly see Zach was within a few feet of the bench, writhing in pain and CLEARLY unable to play, when another player left. He was close enough to the bench. I’m both a Ducks and CBJ fan, but that was clearly giving favor to the Ducks who were already ahead by one with a little over two to go.
What do you know, the refs blatantly hate the CBJ again and won't give us a whistle or a call ever. This is so surprising, almost like it hasn't been happening for 25 straight years
What is with the refs and not being able to see when a player is clearly injured and get off the ice on his own which is the only reason there’s more than five guys on the ice. I swear I’d put every single ref through a reduction process if I could.
Brutal call imo. Werenski clearly isn’t part of the play. It’s not like he’s going to pull a Palmieri. Either blow the whistle and let him get off the ice or don’t call that a penalty. Maybe if the puck got caught up in him after the 6th guy jumped over but Werenski wasn’t going to be part of any play

Literal insult to injury with the too many men call as he was crawling to the bench.
I think this season's over for Columbus.
Still wasn't the wrong call on the ice, it sucks to have happen. Talk about a great game both teams. LETS GO DUCKS
First time I can remember seeing a goalie pushing a guy to the bench like that

Clearly hes injured, those refs need to protect those players better by whistling the play dead.

Clear video shot of the ankle injury.
Let's hope he is OK because this crap would hurt the Pens McKenna chances.
Guy can’t catch a break
Hey, guys used to be KO'd on the ice and sometimes play wouldn't even be stopped a few decades ago.
Too many men on ice.

Ankle sure is a long way from the heart.

And on such a weak shot.
Didn’t know you started posting PWHL highlights…
This team is cursed.
This reminds me of Shea weber and dion phaenufs ankle crackers
my fantasy team is in shambles rn
Too many men…waht game were the announcers watching….came off the bench way too soon, Zach not even off the ice.

Thankfully he's listed as day to day. If you've ever taken a puck there you know the pain. One of the worst places to get hit
