Bye bye Treliving. Pelley comes on the scene promising championships. Treliving hasn’t won anything. King of mediocrity. Bring on Mark and Dale Hunter. This is unwatchable.

Hopefully Brad Treliving is fired… Brendan Shanahan was desperate to find a GM quickly after the Kyle Dubas fiasco… and without question Brad Treliving was a bad hire.

I like Berube. He came along and took the last place Blues and months later made them SC Champs…one has to admire that.
All he did was change their starting goalie and they played tougher.
Nylander and Captain Puff are far from tough. They always have mystery injuries and ailments.
Plus you can bet they're both uncoachable. It's all about especially for Matthews 💵💵💰💰
So although Berube is calling them out….they don't care. They know full well Berube will get fired before they get traded. Now at this point I'm sure they both don't care if they're traded.
I say embarrass them first. Either bench them or cut their minutes drastically.Captain Puff can sit at the end of the bench door.
Leafs have some players that still care like Tavares and Knies. Gi with them first.
The boys seem to be a one period team. Lots of energy in the 1st period and then they peter out. While watching the game after the 1st. I told Nashville, don’t worry the Leafs won’t have the energy to play like that the rest of the game.
As a Bruin fan I am getting a little scared. They have the potential to be in the bottom 5 at the end. Thank God for the west.

This really was a predicable outcome. When Dubas signed Matthews, Nylander, Marner, and Tavares, everyone who knew anything about the salary cap NHL said, "How are you going to round out your roster with 50%+ of your cap space on four players?" Dubas said, "I'll find a way to make it work." Four playoff runs later, it was clear the team didn't have the goaltending or depth to have a chance against the top teams in big games in the playoffs. The team proved it again and again. But Shanahan/Dubas (one or both) wanted to make all four of these guys happy and just kept rolling it forward. Unfortunately now we have Tavares on the back end of his career, Marner gone with no compensation, and Matthews clearly a broken superstar. Everyone's looking for a scapegoat now, but the reality is that this is the result of mistakes that were made years ago. On top of it, now everyone knows we need to deal these guys when they're at their worst. Thanks again, Shanny and Dubas.
The Leafs didn't win, but at least they had fun.

Playoffs are 100% out of the question. Anyone hurt should be shut down, time for them to focus on improving next years team.
If Leafs finish last they get the 1st draft pick. Or maybe not.

Berube has been keeping Maccelli in stands , and there are zero creative players in the team besides him and Nylander. The rest are grinders.
Preds has been pretty good recently so u shouldnt check out just cus its Nashville and their record overall
Really believe the inflection point was when they passed on Hunter as GM and went with Dubas. Just have this feeling if that sliding door went differently Leafs might have actually won something. And now – fading stars with no trades, no picks, no prospects.
Berube was always a dreadful choice, I mean Shanny made it. Start with firing Berube and Savard and let them take their millions home for Christmas.
Then fire Tre in January once the roster freeze ends. Let pridham stock the Cupboards with trading guys. Something we know he's good at.
Then shutdown Matthews and Tanev for the year.
Done. It's actually not even hard choices.
I am sympathetic with the players hsowing no joy. Its how ive felt about them since they hired Berube. Joyless. Even last year it was painful. They only won a division because FLA and TBL didnt care and BOS took a year off.
