Remeber the game where the islanders came out and destroyed everything in sight against the pens? They ran them over, they fought them, they won 6 to 3, they even had Goddard off the bench to protect the goalie. You need that. It's called team building.
When so many regular Americans are losing their jobs, their insurance, and their hope just to continue with a normal existence, why are any of these guys still getting paid to barely show up yet not do a damn bit of work?
Whatever happened to the military academy this team used to go to before training camp or was it during training camp. I think it was Westpoint they went to for two years in a row.
It sucks to look in the rear-view mirror and see no one is behind you. That is what the Pens will see if they continue this trend. You've hit rock bottom, and the only direction is up.
Listen I've connected some dots. Sid has been vehemently routine based. He has superstitions. This "puck luck" thing has to stop. None of these performances can be fixed by luck. And if we put all our eggs into that fake nonsense, we will never get past this until the true rebuild is complete. Mindset is everything. And if you're thinking "the hockey gods" in any capacity? that's a losing mentality.
