    The Devils traded Brian Rolston to Colorado to get back Claude Lemieux that’s great we win the Cup but then Colorado trades Rolston to Boston for Ray Bourque and you know the rest🤮

    1.) I appreciate your optimism in these trying times. 2.) You mentioned the devils have one of the highest amount of contracts with no movement clauses? Curious where u saw that. I want to see just how bad it is or even more detailed stuff like $/yr x how many years on these contracts are left.

    So with young d-men Luke 22 and Nemec 21 and old goaltenders how is this the textbook "win now" window? You'll say because of Nico, Timo, Bratt and Jack. We all see, including Fitz, those 4 can't get to game 6 of the first round of the playoffs. Jack gets hurt every year. Fitz not selling the future now is justified. With Marky, Palat and Dougie gone in 2027 then I could see it.

    Sounds like Palat wasn't asked to waive his NMC but Dougie was and he said no. I called it. No way in hell these guys are uprooting their lives and family just because. This is their right. Good job Fitz! You played yourself. Should have bought out Palat back in June!

    Pesce returning has a huge impact! Luke is a terrible defensive defensemen but with Brett out he was forced to play both roles and being young he struggles and it showed on both ends of the ice. Pesce allows him to be more offensive. In a way I'm glad Luke was exposed early on. Now he knows as well as management where he needs to strengthen his game most. Also I had a dream you stole my hat at the game but gave me a MB30 bottle of vodka but it was empty. Then I saw my hat on your stream…I was pissed and honored and very confused when I woke up. I think we need a break 😂

    Philip Danault? Would have to do some $$ maneuvering but the guys virtually produced nothing over 30 games. This just seems like the so C graded move Fitz likes to make to mildly appease the fans.

    According to an article i read this morning…

    "Sometimes GMs are told to do things by ownership and sign players they don’t believe will fit. This is the result. Infer what you will from that sentence." Inferring Harris & Blitzer told Fitz to get both Hamilton and/or Palat and he did what he was told, regardless of what he thought of the players. It still doesn't explain why he gave both NTC/NMCs.

    Overall I think there's probably truth in both, that ownership told him what to do (which is why Shero quit) and fitz being inept.

    I bet Fitz doesn’t find cap space. Hes going to have to give up major draft capital to get teams on the trade list to accept Dougie and I don’t see it happening because he loves draft picks more than life itself.

    Two thoughts: 1. I hope Pesci is not coming back too early. I wonder, when so many Devs get re-injured so early after returning from injury. 2. The defensive stable is deep. This is why I am on Firzgerald’s side when it came to giving away a sizable part of the store to Vancouver when there is a possibility to get gold in less than two years for much less damage, and I forgot what point #3 was, but there was something.
